    Popularized by far.

    1. You're not considering mana. 5/4 regen on your first build, and unlike steals which scale with the mobs you hit, regen doesn't scale.
    2. Much less lifesteal.
    3. Less defense.

    You need to get out of the habit of slapping items like Third Eye, Aquarius, and Ornate Shadow.

    Mana steal is better with slower attack speeds because slower attack speeds have a higher chance for steals
