Best Fanta? It has less spd but max mr, spell cost stats are all up there (3rd spell cost meets the reqs for 1cost aura, and 2nd spell cost doesn't matter)

 

That’s one nice Fanta. It’s debatable whether or not that one is better. Now if you recall, most shaman spells already hit minimum cost just being able to use the Fantasia (usually 2) meaning no matter the percentage, it’ll go down 1 mana cost. Haul and totem spells by default at already 1 mana when using Fantasia, however, uproot requires 105 to become 1 mana. I can guarantee you most, if not, all Fantasia build would have 105+ intel with Fantasia in hand. (If you use any items that have an intel req >50 and give 5 intel, it’ll make uproot cost 1. E.g. Capricorn, virtuoso, third eye, sine, etc)

Now regarding the value. According to this statement by hyco, a Fantasia with identical stats in every main and sub would be equal. However, in this case, spell damage is a main stat and mine is higher.

In the end, depending on how you look at it, one could be better than the other

Well, you only need 94 int to hit 1cost uproots if the spell cost% is over -34%. Given Fantasia's mechanics, unless you're using a large lapis ring or something you will automatically hit 100int. 105 int is not required. So I can make a case that my Fantasia can hit 1 cost uproots at 100 int while yours cannot. Now, you may say that 5int isn't a huge difference anyways.

So I will present to you, this Brainwash + Fantasia build (credits to Highbread for the build)
This is currently the highest dps Fantasia build without using crafteds or virtuoso (and virtuoso nerf has been confirmed anyways). In this build my fanta will hit 1cost uproots while yours would not.

And if you do happen to use crafted, with my fanta you would be able to use half large lapis ring/bracelet/neck to cut down all the way to 94int for huge spell dmg% stats whilst retaining 1cost auras and uproots.

Fantasia itself requires 50 intel and give an additional 50 intel, does it not? 50 + 50 = 100? Regardless, any functioning build would result in 105 intel

Now have you actually tried using that build in game? I’d assume not. If you try putting everything on (with virtuoso) it’ll pop right off. Wynndata doesn’t take brainwash’s -intel into to account when calculating sp. Even if that build works because you have no other items with >50 intel req, you would only be left with 50 intel. making your spells cost 3/1/5/4

Yeah crafted “ equipables” will be able reduce the final 100 intel. But that’s due to the fact that crafted items always give sp after the stats shown on the compass (similar to weapons) whether it is a bug or not, if it were to function like our traditional armor, similar to the brainwash build, it will pop right off.

Now if you also take a look at the "Price check thread" which many view as accurate, the main stats on fantasia go in the sequence of:
mana regen > 3rd spell > spell dmg > mana steal

mana regen - both have 3/4
3rd spell - both are >34%
spell dmg - mine is 6% higher
mana steal - both have 5/4

now referring back to what's said on the thread, "A 99 walkspeed strati with worse health will be considered #1 above a strati with 97 walkspeed and great health as it is worth more." it is implying that the main stats are what decide which is best

 

If you actually understood how class building works, you would know that the Brainwash build is completely viable.

You can assign 100int, and then equipping bwash would cut ur stats down to 50int, which still meets the reqs for fanta. Then, fanta's +50int stat kicks in to effectively give you 100int again when using it.

 

Yes, you are correct on that one. I didn’t take the time to look at the build in depth. However, coming at me and calling me out for “not knowing this” was a bit hurtful.

Take this for instance. Yes, it uses virtuoso. So what? It’s better in many different ways even after the nerf. This is just your typical slap, I can guarantee you that there are a lot better builds out there that do more than b-wash Fanta.

Yes your Fanta is more convenient when using a Bwash or crafted build. But in better builds? It’s no less effective than mine. Heck even morph gets you over 105.

I will say this once again, the number one mythic is usually determined by price and which is worth more with better main stats.

Well mana sustainability matters, and with virtuoso nerf a lot of those virtuoso builds are gonna have very little sustain (but I guess virtuoso will still be used a lot in rainbow builds coz sp reqs)
