Is There A List Of Useless Items?

I have alot of misc. items that I don't know what to do with
ex. metal scrap, Therck's chain, Yahya's Stained bowl, old treasure, firefly wing

 

They are NOT useless. Metal scarp and firefly wings are used at the mask merchant, the bowl is a QUEST ITEM, extremely important for later quests, therck's chain and the gold block are ingredients.

Edit: The chain and other ingredients like it are used for crafting, so if you are not doing professions (which I don't recommend doing for the first playthrough), they are infact useless.

 

do I just leave them in my ender chest until I need them?

 

That's what I do for items I may need, after level 20-25ish the masks become pretty useless though, but the bowl is really important

 

Even if you aren't doing crafting, I wouldn't call ingredients useless. After all you can always sell most ingredients on the marketplace (although iirc, some ingredients, like quest rewards, can't be sold). Since players are always buying ingredients to level up professions, this can be a good source of income.

 

That's true, but I'm pretty sure earlygame ingredients that aren't Tier 3 don't sell for much, but 60+ you can make a decent amount of money from other ingredients too.
