“The unknown, more mysterious, sinister and terrifying half of the Eldritch Outlook, where more mysteries of the tower and even the Silent Expanse are uncovered, but yet still leading to many new-formed questions left to answer. Many of the creatures here many be sentient, and even smarter than before, but that only means that they are more dangerous. Do you have what it takes to explore this wild, yet not-so-wild side of the Outlook?”

Difficulty: Once again obnoxiously hard, but unlike The Ravaged Laboratory Dungeon (That I made), this one is much, much longer and a bit less fair.

Length: More than twice as long as the known Eldritch Outlook rooms. The challenge might be long, but it requires patience. You might have potions, but taking even a few hearts of damage in this lengthy map will cause you to lose a lot, so be careful with just charging in.

THE MIRROR

The Mirror of the Eldritch Outlook has always been viewed as a giant flat wall blocking the way to the next rooms, but the true nature of The Mirror is actually a whole illusion, trapping anyone who knows of its secret into the mirror itself, forcing them to face against the many beings of the parallel world who have never been seen before, and only lets those who are strong enough to shatter the illusion to access the rest of the Hidden Side.

THE NIGHTMARE WOOD


A large region between the Outlook and the Eyeball Forest, this small space concealed to outsiders by ancient Eldritch Magic and only viewable from within, is home to many wilder beings not usually found in the Silent Expanse. Isolated from the rest of the Expanse is a forest of sinister and nightmarish woods inhabited by creatures of the trees and nightmares that have the potential to kill just from their bright, shining lights alone. The other half nearer to the Eyeball Forest are the Eyeball Forest Outskirts with the Eyeball trees, together with the Blinders roaming the grounds. THE SPIRIT'S OBELISK


A giant, dark obelisk towering over the outskirts of the Eldritch Outlook, this enigmatic structure that stands opposite of the Eldritch Outlook but yet so strangely connected to the hallways of the outlook itself. The obelisk itself is guarded by untold entities, and the energy of The Spirit, an unnamed being from another dimension, plane of existence or possibly even the Realm of Dern itself, is so powerful that its energy is able to spread to our world. The inside of the obelisk, however, is even more strange than the outside, like many things in this giant darkness-covered expanse.

LIBRARY OF MADNESS


The top of the obelisk houses a large and extremely grand library, filled with shelves and shelves of sacred texts that seem to stretch endlessly above and, due to the giant mirror that carpets the ground, to the deep depths below as well. This place, filled with books that should not be read by mere human eyes also includes the keeper of the books. More educated in ancient Eldritch magic than any of the entities in the Expanse, and much smarter. The origins of this being are unknown, but he is currently attempting to summon The Spirit, presumably from the Realm of Dern, to our own world.

“Filled with columns and columns of texts and scripts whose contents can drive mortals insane, the halls of the library houses a mysterious being trying to summon an all-powerful creature presumably from the Realm of Dern itself. Can you stop him before he succeeds?”

AMBULATA CITY


Deep inside the Eldritch Tower lies a giant, but yet silent ancient city of the Ambulata, a species not unlike any other in our world. The Ambulata don’t just have the ability to walk on walls, as that is a common misconception. Their strange concepts of gravity and spacial dimensions are supposed to be impossible with normal laws of physics and magic this world has. The ancient city of where the Ambulata hide and originate from is the place in our world where they can comfortably reside in, as the natural laws that they are used to existing with only exists within this space of the Eldritch Outlook. The true size of the city can’t be described accurately using our current knowledge of dimensional space, but it is massive, and takes up a large chunk of the Eldritch Outlook. Inside the city of confusing directions and perspectives, the Ambulata have the clear upper hand.

t.H.S.P.s Rhymes
A while before the reveal of the Hidden Side, a machine called t.H.S.P.s was introduced to a few people in the Wynncraft discord server, who seemingly gave useless information but was told that the machine actually gives out rhymes that are "clues to help you in the future".

Then, exactly one week before the map's big reveal, t.H.S.P.s activated, providing out a rhyme every single day to two chosen people (more specifically @Señor TopHat and @Fleega) should they enter a correct passcode for each day (whose clues were given out beforehand). These rhymes gave hints and directions to each individual room of the Hidden Side: Part 1. Once the seventh and last rhyme was shown, this forum post was immediately revealed to the public, and hence the Hidden Side. The rhymes are shown below.

Not planned, will not fit into the overall theme of the Hidden Side.

 

So is there any way I can use this "Systematic Recreation" here?

 

Nova has recreated most of the essential systems that wynncraft runs with, on his private server.
I don't think you could download his plugins, but you can ask him about it.
The idea is that if you hooked up your ideas to his "wynncraft systematic recreation", you could make this dungeon an actual playable thing. It would still take a lot of effort, but his plugin provides things like boss systems, items, classes, spells and whatnot.

How do I "hook them up"? This is a Singleplayer world, so plugins can't work here, I've recreated all the mechanics to as close to Wynncraft's as possible using command blocks.

Also this dungeon is playable, just haven't released the map yet.

 

To actually get nova's code to work with your dungeon you would need to speak with him and ask him if he is interested first :p
because it would require some work for him too.
and it would probably need to be hosted on his server.

Alright, but I'll see about Systematic Recreation, but only after the Singleplayer version of Hidden Side is released. Mainly because I thought you might first want to see how the map's like (game mechanics, lore, locations and all that) before transferring it into whatever you plan to do with it.

 

this makes me want elemental gear and weapons of Dark and Light even more...
(especially because the boss is weak to light and has dark defence)
