Types Of People Who Play Wynncraft

Hello everyone, today I'm bringing you descriptions of types of people who play Wynncraft. Feel free to add your own in the comments and to vote in the poll above - you have a maximum of 2 votes!

Quester: This person wants to experience all the quests in the game. They spend a lot of time travelling to and from NPCs around the world. Quests are already a big part of gameplay, but these people take it much further, to the point that they have five character slots where they have done every quest.

Explorer: This person travels around the world! They enjoy quests, but their favourite thing to do is to walk into remote places on the map and just be there. These guys want to have all the discoveries, and try to find secret discoveries without the wiki.

Theorist (me): This person enjoys adventuring too, but they are always coming up with theories on why things happen in Wynn. They often love writing and have analytical minds.

Dungeon Geek: This person just does dungeons over and over. They don't care which, they just want to do dungeon stuff! They speedrun dungeons a lot and try to beat their records.

Entrepreneur: This person wants to get rich! They want to have the most the emeralds and they are often savers rather than spenders. They scour the trade market and often stop random people in the middle of Detlas to trade. There's also a branch of these guys called scammers - if you are one of these, hang your head in shame.

XP Maniac: This person wants the most XP. They love grinding, and even when at the level cap, they still grind! They love doing repetitive tasks. Honestly, I think these people are a bit weird, but each to his own!

The Cheat: This isn't me saying that the wiki or other material is bad. This person uses the wiki if they get stuck for even a second. They always have their browser open beside Wynncraft. The word "cheat" comes across a bit negative, but this is just another style of play. Sure, a lot of people don't find it fun, including me, but lets keep comments civil toward these types of people, k?

Profession Nerd:

Speedrunner: These guys just want to get through the game ASAP. They time stuff with online stopwatches that go down to thousandths of a second, and want to do everything a light speed!

The Suggesters: These guys love to give feedback. Some want to make the server a better place, some want to have a laugh at the devs.

The lootrunner: These guys get up the map of wynncraft in MS Paint. They then do some algebra on an excel spreadsheet and draw a graph of the most efficient route. They then do some other sums. After all this, they're so tired they don't even look for the loot.

Class Builder: This person spends lots of time in the trade market. They love calculating item IDs and often help people come up with good builds. They also spend a lot of time on Excel and/or Google Sheets.

The dead people - they did profs :D
The suggesters - The people who make tons of suggestions (some suggesters are good, others... not so much)

and now the ones which im surprised you didnt include in the original:

The challenger - they challenge themselves to do the best they can, whether it is to do HICH or HIC or just something like that, you know what i mean
The speedrunner - They go speedrunning I: pretty self explanatory

(note when i say speedrunner i dont mean what you said with the dungeon geek, i mean speedrunning 1-105 or someething, like rene did)

Feel like you forgot a few:

Ultra-Active endgame player:
- Has a crap-ton of Wynncraft mods installed, each with increasingly absurd names
- On 46 community discords
- If they can't get a class to level 105 in less than 10 hours they've failed
- Forgot what 80% of the game is like due to dungeon speedrunning
- Doesn't understand why players who haven't had 2000 hours of experience like them struggle with the game
- Hates Wynncraft

Forum gamer:
- Participates in 5 RPs and 10 identical counting games
- 2000% like/message ratio
- Probably level 13 ingame

CT Member:
- Part of the biggest clique on the server, even if none of us want to admit it

Moderator:

Class Builder:
- 136,589 messages on the Wynncraft discord
- Knows the name of every single item, even that unique you forgot about
- Over a hundred inside jokes, with a new one created each day

Prof Tryhard:
- Level 132 in like 5 different profs
- Never sleeps, because that would mean missing a prof party

Lootrunner:
- Complains when their 10th mythic that week is a pair of boots that can still fetch 32LE
- Probably gets annoyed IRL when someone's driving in the same lane as them

Guild Community Member:
- Expert in virtual politics
- Spent over 1K on shout bombs
- Probably failing their IRL politics class from constantly taking territories

Normal Wynncraft Player:
- Plays through the game like Salted probably intended
- Hah, these people don't exist

I think you forgot to add that mods only drink orange juice.

 

I can't believe I didn't add those. I suppose I'd never be a prof myself so it didn't cross my mind.

Beggar: This person always goes around asking poeple for le or mythics. They will occasionally spam people too.

Idk if they're common enough to go on the list (I am also out of poll options)

 

Boss Fighter: Likes to fight bosses, such as Qira, The Eye, LI Bosses, boss altar bosses, etc. Uses skill pots if the bosses prove too challenging and wishes to fight harder versions of said bosses for a greater challenge. (I’m one of these btw)

 

The addict: -Probably has a bank page filled of a random object
-"99% overall? meh I dont want it, sorry"
-spends 25 hours a day lootrunning for a unique items, complain he only finds mythics
-"buyout for 25 stx"
-probably spent all his money on one item, doesnt care because he hates every other items
-"WeLL you see, its a better item because it has 1% more waLk speed and it can tank"
-absolutely rekt class builders for using shitty items in a good way
-"NOOOO YOU CAN'T HAVE 100% WALK SPEED AND CONSIDER YOURSELF FAST!!!"

lore fan: only things you can find in his/her head are dates, places and characters from Wynncraft, will answer every lore related question in less than 1 second

Random: Can't focus on anything so they are doing everything to compensate it. Sometimes they lootrun, explore, lvl up or anything until any another thing comes across their mind
