What Quest Do You Hate The Most?

I wouldn't say that one is super bad either, but it's still just a fetch quest with a lame boss, so it's still bad.

 

N.1 goes to ??? probably for being a quest you have to do with other people and an annoyingly long and hard quest.
N.2 Temple of Legends for being the most annoying go fetch me that quest in the history of Wynn (I like the CoW part tho).
And N.3 goes to Bob's lost soul because of it being a mixture of the first two.
I don't care what they say, these are the three I hate the most.

 

I still wouldn't call ToL bad, because firstly, I think it is a well designed quest recapping everything you've done in Wynn.

Secondly, if you grab the items on your journeys, the quest isn't even that long, as it goes like this:

1. Talk to Kelight
2. Go to the Roots
3. Go to Mage Island
4. Return to Kelight
5. Quickly visit the Pigman ravine using the passage which takes 3 minutes

And that's it, apart from battling CoW.

Bob's lost soul is much worse, but once you have a class inside it isn't as annoying anymore since you can solo it.

 

But then you still have to collect old touroto hide, Maro's eye jewel, and Asaedo leaves

As for bob's, it will then take up one class slot

I disagree
While it may be a pain to get the resources, its definetly worth 7 le for 20 min of work
And its not even all that bad, the dialogue is kinda funny and the ending is expected, but still good

 

That's my problem with it. It's just a bit of grinding for a stupidly high reward.
It's completely disconnected from any other quest and doesn't tie in at all.
It's basically a low-tier meme quest with an absurdly high reward.

 

And you say thats worse than the other terrible quests like recipe for disaster? Which is the same except for less hardly any reward, less story (since UW does tell you how hobbits try to make weapons like dwarfs but are worse at it) and its far more annoying to get the items for it. Atleast Ultimate weapon's ingridients are close and its easier to navigate in a forest than sky islands where you die if you use your movements spell wrongly.

I wouldnt lael UW as a bad quest, but Im an ingridient gatherer, so the quest feels more like a job than a quest so what do I really know.

Recipe for disaster is a much more creative fetch quest.

You need to go to special places and complete special tasks to get the items. You even go to the moon in it!

In UW you literally just grind.

 

I agree, ToL can be quite fast and fun quest, boss cutscenes are great in my opinion, also this helmet can be actually useful if you dont have any good helmet

 

except recipe for disaster has a terrible reward, the chestplates you get arent all that good and even if you use them for a little while, there are better options for it.
Also, what about canyon guide, recover the past, realm of light and the famous quest for being hated, ???

canyon guide is fundamentally bad because no1 likes escort mission
recover the past is basically a super secret cutscene, a lot of unskipable dialogue and bad reward
realm of light just being a boring place that no1 wants to be in and is storywise badly written
and ??? to finish everything off, the only quest you cant solo, having to travel a lot to get the stuff, taking a long time, if some1 falls off the meteor it takes ages for them to get back, also it takes quite a lot of soul points off of you and the reward has no money, the armour is nice but I wouldnt do the quest twice because I already have the armour at that point

 

The reward isn't terrible, I've seen the plates get used in many builds and iirc you still get at least an LE.

You can't really say that. I don't like the quest, but saying that no one likes an escort mission is pretty stereotypical.

??? is not famous for being hated, many just don't like it because of how it requires four players and is "too difficult". I enjoyed it a lot and it is one of my favorite quests. The people you do it with can affect a lot.

 

I know you didnt say anything about those quests, but Im just saying that saying UW is worse than those is not really true imo and told you quests that I hate doing. I would do UW 5 times than do ??? quest once, I just hate that quest and like UW. UW could also technically be just the game telling you that farming ingridients is an amazing way to make money.

It's a fine quest in my opinion too because of the reward and the joke, I was just comparing it to Recipe to Disaster

They’re great quests (especially the last one) but I just don’t like playing the bad guy :<

I totally agree that it's easier to navigate for UW than in RfD, but I think that it's also sort of the problem. I'll try to explain my case properly here:

In RfD (which I agree, is a glorified fetch quest), you at least have puzzles to complete. The anti-gravity tower thing, the salt cave collapsing on the moon, the blindness puzzle, the funny snail race idea etc. And whilst it can be a pain to run around, at least each section has some personality to it.

In UW, you grind wood sprites, then gollier iron, the sit in a stream for a minute, then grind royal bugs. That's it. No puzzles, variety or interesting areas. Just grinding in different spots for a minute to get a stupidly large reward (please nerf it or better, just remove the quest).

 

AHC is an alternate universe or maybe just an illusion.

Either way I thought it was really cool fighting Maxie, Aledar and Tasim.

A little unrelated but I feel RfD also encourages exploration a lot better because of how confusing Sky Islands is; I didn't even know a place such as Astralus' Tower existed because I normally don't have a need to go around Sky Islands due to how hard it is to get around.

You could argue the same for Light Forest but the forest is much easier to navigate which makes exploring it in UW a lot less satisfying, especially with the addition of a boring grind for materials like you mentioned.
