What Quest Do You Hate The Most?

Haven't seen one of these discussions for awhile,

I'll start off by saying the new poisoning the pest and to an extent A Sandy scandal (bit fetchy and watch this cutscene type). But there's probably a lot more I've forgotten about.

But I'll be interest to see what other people think

 

I guess most people are going to spam these quests (For good reason)

King's Recruit (Professions are a chore)
Green Gloop (getting soft sand is so annoying)
Tribal Aggression (hey walk there and here and there and here and there and you finish the quest!)
Canyon Condor (the canyon is a terrible place)
The Canyon Guides (NPC dumb)
Recipe for Disaster (somehow an even more annoying fetch quest than Bob's Lost Soul solely because navigating the sky islands is extremely tricky)

I personally dislike a few aspects of the above quests but out of all of them I must say that Green Gloop is by far the worst quest in the game.

 

I say that unless your an assasin jungle fever is impossible at level

 

100% agree, King's recruit is almost enough to push off new people as they think the game will have more and necessary grinding than it does, they should have only slightly tweaked the original tutorial and saved professions to be explained in another quest (like powders), can't overwhelm the newbie lol.

I thought they removed green gloop lol, that one is quite fetchy but it's not my absolute worst

the tutorial has been revamped, the only "prof-related" thing is chopping the tree down and craft your weapon.

 

Well that's good to know I didn't know that thanks for telling me, are you going to say your least favourite quest as well?

 

havent done 2/3 of the available quest so idk

 

Mage: Just TP whenever a golem rounds the corner.
Archer: Spam Arrow Shield and move fast with Speed 3.
Shaman: Bit tricky. Just try to trap golems by using aura.
Warrior: No idea. Charge through I guess???

The quest I despite the most is ToL btw.

 

Recover the Past at level: I dont know why but I keep having a lot of trouble with this quest
Beneath the Depths: the underwater maze thing is way too annoying and the big skull part sucks too
The Canyon Guides: Cant go 2 seconds before Seluc goes to attack the troll that is on the opposite end of the world

 

Gotta go with Realm of Light:
- Gives you another quest helmet, even though you already got another quest helmet 3 levels ago in the same questline.
- Quest is very generic. It follows the formula of "explore place, get me items, kill X".
- Doesn't really do the realm of light justice considering how hyped up the location was, both in pre-gavel teasers and previous quests.
- Quest ends on... cliffhanger? I don't know how to describe it, it just feels so abrupt, and that you didn't even accomplish anything.
- Quest helmet

 

All of the greenskin quests (clearing the camps, green skinned trouble, reclaiming the house and a fighting species.) The only somewhat memorable quest out of all of them is green skinned trouble; otherwise they all have basically the exact same plot (infiltrate base of reskinned zombies, kill the leader, finish quests). They’re not real stories; they’re outdated filler content. It’s a shame, too, because the other two quests in the Llevigar plains are actually pretty good. Star Thief is so much better than it was previously, giving a good amount of lore around the cosmic powers in meteors, and Quartron is also a fun, campy quest, if a little bit immersion breaking. The pre-light forest area is probably the most underused area, too, and a Fighting Species really doesn’t do it justice.

YES! I hate quests that require helmets, especially when your helmet holds the build together

My least favorite is Realm of Light is just kinda... doesn't feel at all climatic and the reward of 1 LE for a the amount of fetching

I just did that quest lol, apart from it making literally no sense story wise it was fairly fun in my opinion, just go here kill this go here kill this go here talk to him.

 

Tample of the Legends: useless, u Need to have done Like 8 quests to do It, u can't actually solo the boss, annoying, shit XP, unlock a Place Only for a weapon shop and a really shit grind spot that's really USELESS

 

Aldorei's Secret Part II. The story is written like a parody yet it's completely serious.

 

Ultimate Weapon.

 

Then 10 levels later you get ice nations, which is basically the same quest but on the water.

 

At least Ice Nations has you fighting through a ghost ship
