Hypixel Skyblock Is Nice

Skyblock is nice if you wants to be a millionare at least one time of your life

 

This is the real SkyBlock i grow up on

 

Its fine as long as you don't go on the forums

 

Skyblock is just grinding in order to grind more

What? Pokemon literally does require grinding, unless you plan on abusing major exploits to complete the game. You have to level your Pokemon, and how you do that is grinding, whether you're beating up trainers or just wild Pokemon it's still grinding. Also, undertale you sort of have a point, however it depends on which path you take. Genocide does actually require a lot of grinding of enemies. Anyway, I didn't really mean every game, just most.

 

Do trainers count as grinding? If you only do the 100% necessary ones, you will probably be a bit underlevelled, but it's still possible. Pokemon games are one of the easiest RPGs I have seen.

Well, whatever. There are still many games that don't require or even have grinding (Mario games, Uncharted games, basically all big puzzle games...)

 

not at all, you can certainly choose to grind in many games, but those that default to grinding as their core gameplay aren't very good in that case. progressing through a game, whether it be via levels a story or whatever, usually doesn't fall under grinding as it's not repetitive tedious or without seeming to have an end. I'm not big in to mmorpgs, so the only game I've *EVER* played seriously that would even have grinding as part of its main campaign is wynncraft.

games, at a core level, have nothing inherently to do with grinding nor do many resort to having it. they're supposed to be fun and interactive form of play, while grinding by definition is to be repetitive

 

Nah, it’s really not

Games like Portal, Night in the Woods, Ori and the Will of the Wisps, Stanley Parable, even some RPGs like Pokemon and Ni No Kuni don’t require grinding at all. Grinding is really limited to progression focused games like MMOs

Been playing it lately and all i do is build my island and force my minions to do all the grinding. Also why do some of the carpentry recipes have to be VIP only? I get that they have to make money but it feels super forced. At the very least they could add a special VIP upgrade with exclusive recipes that are really useful for decoration and stuff. Also whenever I try and grind wood there just has to be some dude running around like freaking sonic the hedgehog with their treecapitator and young dragon armor who just steals all the wood. Also the deep mines. Part of an early game quest is to get obsidian and even reaching that mine is a challenge because of the godly diamond mine zombies and skeletons. Then you realise that you need a diamond pick and have to craft one and go back to the mine. Then you get one shot by literally everything whilst you try to collect some stupid obsidian.

And then you realise you can just make your own obsidian

anyway its fun

also is it me or are their dungeons a little familiar...

well i mean sword and shield lets you drug your pokemon with candies to level them up

 

skyblock is p fun ig, fun to just listen to a podcast while mining or some shit

hypixel skyblock is okay. it isn't the greatest, but i kinda like it.
