How Do People Have Mythics?

I just can't comprehend how people have mythic's. I read somewhere that there's a 7/1000000 chance to get one from a chest or something? And all of the good mythic's are like 15+ stacks of le? How tf can anyone make that much money? Please someone explain how this works, or at least how to make money... I have a few 100+ classes, so I feel like I should understand this by now.

 

You can't find mythic, it finds you

 

you can get money by selling runes/keys/gear/ingredients/materials, do quests or lootrunning. seavale reef is an option too

 

I am one of the luckiest people out there if im gonna be honest. Also the dumbest but anyway. I won a disco giveaway like 3 years ago and then that set me up to afford a fatal so gg ez all skill.

In all honesty. Most people either grind, do quests or loot run (or all three) until they have enough to afford a mythic (only a handful are anywhere near 15 stacks, most are around 7 on average, and many are less than that), and buy it. Some people, myself included, get lucky and find one or more.

yeah theres some people with 15 stacks then there are people with 100+ stacks and own every mythic in the game and then more, and to my understanding, you only get to that level by selling your soul to the loot chests. at that point its probably not worth it but some people endure it for some reason, whatever suits you I guess

but to answer your question usually people get a boost from a giveaway or a friends donation, while the mythic route of getting rich is completely up to RNGeebus

Just lootrun. Right now lootrunning is kinda trash since everyone's doing it, but when less people do it you can usually find mythics pretty reliably. Don't get discouraged if you don't find a mythic after weeks/months of grinding, it often takes a while to find one. It can also take a few days if you're lucky. I personally made a lot of money off finding mythics, then using the money from that mythic to buy cheaper mythics and rerolling them to better ids. With good luck you can double or triple your returns from a single mythic, but you can also lose quite a bit of money and the process can take a while.

 

it's more of just buying at the low end of the price check and selling at the high end.

I don't play anymore, but the way I made money 3 years ago was first sell legendary items until I had enough to buy an Az. From there I traded my way up to ~35 stacks of le worth of mythics. Some luck is involved though, as a lot of it is just being at the right place at the right time when people are desperate to sell a mythic and you're able to take it off their hands for a fairly low price. A real world example of this can be seen if you just search "trading up" on youtube.
