Terraria

i have been playing both wynncraft and terraria lately and i gotta say... best mechanics between both games are likely the reasons i like them so much.

examples:

weapons and equipment have variation to their stats( terraria has prefixes, wynncraft ids), grants/removes viability for each item each run.

healing item cool downs, makes it so i don't have infinite hp and thus infinite tanking(terraria only has potions, cool down can be shortened, wynncraft has crafted scrolls, crafted food and then potions crafted and found naturally)(also i can't pull a skyrim and eat all my potatoes in the middle of a fight i wasn't prepared for)

subclasses: basically i can be an archer that shoots many arrows or few arrows, a melee type who can tank all the zombies hits OR (and this is particularly interesting to play as in terraria with the Fetid Baghnakhs) a rapid swing maniac that kills his opponents before he dies. mage of the efficient damage/mp or of the brief moment of high dps before needing a recharge.

oh, almost forgot that after the big update recently, like 10 of my steam friends finally got the first achievement the game offers on the day the update dropped.

The game introduced a new first achievement (well, the wood cutting is before it, but still) that requires you to make a workbench. I am only missing around 9-10 achievements from the entire game, and I'm trying to not make any workbenches at all, so that the achievement will be my last one.

 

nvm, don't play with it anymore. guess i really should have went over these notes before putting up a server for me and my friends to play on.

 

1.14 update is looking pretty amazing so far ngl. New bosses, a lot of new accessory combinations, etc. A lot of really nice QoL stuff too
Also: GOLF!

 

I mean, they were mostly a gimmick weapon. If you're looking for good melee weapons that are similar to the Baghnakhs, try the flails, they've been overhauled in the new update.
