Imo it's not a good idea to have such a glassy build, especially when you have 12 cost arrow shield. If you insist on high dmg then sure, but otherwise I'd use Elder Oak Roots instead of the Chaos-Woven Greaves

 

cwg is tankier than elder oak roots… and i doubt an extra 2mr is going to alleviate the arrow shield issue. there's no real argument for mr either cos 7mr is pretty plentiful with 1/1 spell costs.

idk if having 129int matters on this build but anya's penumbra does it
i think the build's otherwise alright

 

-30 defense? elder oak roots gives 2oo raw hpr every 4 seconds with the new change? I disagree

 

why is everyone overhyping hpr? is 200 per 4s going to save a build that probably finds itself 2-shot by everything? and realistically it's not like negative def increases damage taken so it only matters if you're accounting for sp pots. you have a point if so but cwg is still completely reasonable here.

It's not just about the hpr, you should know that 41.7% less dmg taken is a quite a lot

Also extra 2mr will slightly make up for the less dmg arrow storms

 

cwg is locked into etw, and elder oak lets you go ewf

 

kinda assumed OP wanted ew/etw, if we're stepping into ewf territory then there's better options available, like gaea-hewn. your point about tankiness makes a lot more sense when an entire archetype change is involved.

that 2mr won't matter, 7mr with 1/1 costs is plenty good.

From the suggestions people have given, I’ve seen a decrease in damage and not a large increase in other stats so I think I’m just going to stick with what I’ve got.

note: 7 mr is very low for nighthawk abuse, considering the much faster spell cycling- you can generally exhaust like 8-9 mana in 4 seconds with decent cps iirc?

also didn't check the op's build, i just was responding to your statement about cwg being tankier than elder

did you account for the natural 5mr? maybe you did and didn't make it clear

if so then ig my cps just isn't decent, 7mr is almost enough for my 2/1 nighthawk archer just spamming spells as fast as possible out of combat

 

oh yeah forgot about 5/4 natural, so yeah, that should be reasonable. mb
