Find the line containing both points 421,671 and 453,191. Answer is the y (Why) intercept.
Answer: 6989 (the correct solution is 6986, we messed it up)

Atbash (at Bash): lament, fantasia, boreal, toxoplasmosis, ethereal, hadal, pure, fatal, pisces x7, Olympic, Knucklebones, Stratiformis, singularity, spring
Affine (A fine) calibrated to 5/23, taking the first letter of each word in addition to the number: lfbtehpfp7OKSss -> imgurcomo7TNZzz
Steganography on the image yields a poem, which hints at a location in Corkus.
Go to the location in Corkus at -1602 132 -2330 and the key to the next puzzle is on the grave.

Arrange terracotta by ID: upmost
Minecraft is a game about cubes, every color in the chest is laid out in the form of a paper cube folding game, with terracotta as the base. Visualize folding them and arrange the wools that appear at the top by their ID.
Answer: atomic

Puzzle #8
The pretext hints you to use the Periodic Table.
Periodic Table of the elements in addition to electron charge gives "fivetwelveisthekey".
Five twelve is C5H12, pentane, a flammable gas (also hinted at in the pretext).
Answer: pentane

Puzzle #9
Solve the crossword puzzle, identify the notes and their correct octaves in the .mp3 file, and link them back to the words.

Puzzle #10
Keyed Caesar cipher (in hindsight, I probably should've included a hint to use this too)
The first set of numbers provide the shift
The remaining five sets of numbers provide the key
The 4th set in the key group is replaced by a world file, inside you can find a 2:1 replica of the Temple of Heaven in Beijing, China. The chest points you to a building on the right, that contains a clue "1/10^6", hinting you to divide all the numbers by 1,000,000 , obtaining coordinates.
Shift: 7 (seven buildings, the clue said "try counting")
Key: BRICS (the countries of where the locations are, from an international organisation of the five prominent emerging economies)

You're linked to a very small (8 × 10) photo. Using the white pixels as zeroes, and the black pixels as ones, extract ASCII codepoints. Or, use my terrible Python code.

Not solved.

• The cipher is an Atbash cipher.
• May 23rd is the 144th day of the year, which also happens to be 12^2.

Given that Cryptobin does the password validation client-side (using Stanford's JS Cryptolib), it's probably possible to brute-force the password (if it's "reasonable".)

• UPDATE: SJCL is slow af, but I'll try running it anyways.
• UPDATE^2: I went through all English words in my wordlist and not a single one worked. Back to square one.

I've removed this, to try and discourage others from doing the same. @RamonaFlowers has obviously put work into this, and they've now asked people not sidestep the puzzles via brute force.

 

Heya, we checked our work again and found a typoed number which resulted in the y-intercept being incorrect. Your solution is the correct one. To proceed, submit "6989". Sorry about that!
