Oh sorry must have missed that. Nico and Will glance at each other, then at the crowd, then quickly head away from the clock tower as silently as possible.

 

Well 1/100 is actually a pretty significant chance. Perhaps this innovation could lead somewhere but it's going to turn useless for the next 20 years because the time barriers fall tomorrow.

I'm pretty sure for Go Fish, you only have to ask for a number or face card, not a suit.

Either way:

"Go fish," Kiros says. Beplep draws a card from the deck and miraculously gets a King of Diamonds.

Kiros asks Dersta, "Do you have a four?" Dersta gives a distasteful look and indiscreetly hands Kiros a four of diamonds.

Kiros' Hand:

Dersta then asks Billy, "Yo, got an ace?"

"Go fish lad."

Dersta draws a card.

Billy then asks Beplep, "Lad do you have a King?"

Which King will Beplep give? And what will Beplep ask from Kiros?

What now?

Nico and Will attempt to sneak away from the brawl but it gets more hectic as a goddamn storm brews in the sky. Several lightning strikes come down blasting the crowds and nearby roofs. A lightning strike appears in front of Nico and Will on the roof surprising them. The roof is now on fire so Nico and Will are forced to jump off. Both jump and roll onto the ground but then, a fireball is sent their way. Both dodge it. There's a fire elementalist that wants their blood (this is a different person from the one from earlier). The fire elementalist charges at Nico and Will. What now?

 

Out of sheer saddness he weeps and cries. Then in the storage room he finds... Archive 9 its a VHS. From around 13 years ago...

Can you explain how the flying juggernaut works?

 

Nico draws his sword and charges at the fire elementalist, attempting to dodge the fireballs. Will strings an arrow to his bow and fires, aiming for whatever the elementalist is using to cast these spells.

 

Simply think of a 10 foot tall metal behemoth with guns, grabbed you attention, good now think about if it can fly bada bing bada boom

Was that supposed to have Mikos figure out he’s missing some memories? If so, Mikos will have a slight ‘aha’ moment (mutter something along the lines of “So that’s how it is...” under his breath), and then panic internally about not knowing exactly what’s missing.

 

The fire elementalist sends in three fireballs as he charges. Nico is able to dodge all of them. It appears that he's summoning these fireballs via his hands. It reminds Nico of Leo. Will fires an arrow at the fire elementalist's hands and the arrow sinks through the elementalist's right hand. The fire elementalist screams in pain and jets himself away with fire coming from his feet. He jets backwards into the crowd and disappears before Nico can slash at him.

This maneuver by the fire elementalist attracts more people towards Nico and Will. Both Nico and Will suddenly feel a strong gust of wind from behind them forcing them towards the brawl. An air elementalist shoots some slices of air (visible by the dust) at Nico and Will who both dodge the slices. A person with a bow and arrow nocks an arrow but waits before shooting Nico and Will.

What now?

The buzz and fear is already dying down in the other major cities. Midas may want to make a plan to keep distrust up at least between the citizens of the countries.

A few more moves are played.








"Opposite side castling!" the kid seems very excited.

"This is going to be a fight," Aliruja smiles.

"I haven't ever played a game with opposite side castling..." Fireza mutters.

"This is uncharted territory we're sailing into!" the father says in his best pirate voice.

 

Midas with three flair Missiles Launches them at Notingburg to keep fears high.

One of the army general named steve says

"Hey there is a 'hole buncha stupid people across the border, we can kidnap em and make them do you biddin"

Midas ponders about this and desides he wants to head to Pre Modern to set up a weapons trade.

Midas reachs out more fear by launching a missile over the Panami nation

 

Will draws his own arrow and points it towards the other archer, but not shooting. Nico stands at the ready, prepared to summon undead soldiers. They won't attack unless the enemy attacks.

 

This'll be done once the barriers fall, right?

Midas waits a few minutes as the flare missiles are launched. It's another unsettling 10 minutes of wait. But this time, Midas is satisfied.

The three flare missiles appear in the sky above Notingburg. A huge fire pummel is sent towards the missiles from the middle of the city. Only the bottom half of the transprent green dome forms. The fire pummel misses and another pummel is sent catching and exploding one of the missiles in the air. The other two missiles land dead center in Notingburg. A few seconds later, three whole skyscrapers collapse and a bunch of smoke comes from the center of the city. Then, another 10 seconds pass and the bottom half of the green dome disappears. Another 2 seconds pass and a green eye symbol appears in the sky, but it's now extremely weak and transparent. The eye symbol actually flickers in the sky for a few more seconds, before disappearing. Midas stares at the live feed for a bit, before rejoicing, realizing that the fire elementalist with the weird green eye symbol powers is dead. Now he's unstoppable. There shouldn't be anything that can stop him.

What now?

The air elementalist attacks first sending an air pummel at Nico unexpectedly. It pushes Nico back a few feet but that's it. The air elementalist then brings out a small pocket knife and charges in.

The archer is still standing ready to fire at any moment.

 

Nico, if possible, shadow sravels behind the air elementalist and attacks with his sword. If not possible, Nico summons 4 undead military soldiers and they all charge the aair elementalist. Will, seeing that the battle has started, fires his arrow at the aarcher before trying to dodge whatever retaliation the archer might have.

 

Correct

 

Nico appears behind the air elementalist and slices with his sword, cutting the back of the air elementalist. He falls to the ground. The slice is not enough to kill him but enough to impair him for a bit.

Will fires an arrow at the archer and the archer fires slightly after Will. The archer dodges Will's arrow and Will dodges the archer's arrow. A small circle of flames appears around the archer and he nocks his bow again, only this time... with no arrow? The archer releases the string.

Suddenly, a barrage of arrows fly from the bow (imagine wynncraft arrow storm but randomly in front instead of three directions).

[ This is a 1 second reaction time. Recommended to find cover or somehow get a shield. ]

What now?

Midas realizes its now or never. They all set out to bum rush notingburg, they can't shoot all of them! (Using same weapons as before)

 

If Nico can get to Will in time, he grabs Will's arm and shadow travels behind the archer. If he can't, he commands one of the undead, preferably the nearest one to Will, to deflect/take as many arrows as possible from hitting Will.

Tanks, helicopters, drones, and infantry rush towards Notingburg for the second time today. The green dome is formed again around the whole city and Midas's forces create a hole. However, no tanks rush in the small opening because of what happened last time. It's a bottleneck. Midas realizes that there's no more unordinary fire elementalist to summon an eye symbol to combat anti-magic systems. Notingburg is also hiding its last three tanks somewhere.

What now?

Nico commands one of the undead to act as a shield for Will. The barrage ends after 3 seconds and Will has a few fresh cuts from arrows that skimmed his skin. All the arrows that came from the spell disappear. No littering must be a rule or something.

The archer then nocks his bow again with an arrow this time, but the arrow is engulfed in an enchanted light crimson hue. The archer shoots the arrow at Nico and then summons another arrow engulfed in an enchanted green light similar to what Nico and Will saw earlier from the sword wielder in the alleyway. The archer is holding it like a dagger.

What now?

 

continue to bum rush till the shield breaks and then dash to the President

 

Nico commands an undead to take the hit as Will nocks 4 arrows to fire at the other acher all at once. Nico then finishes the air elementalist.
