Mikos finds himself in a rural looking town he's never been in before. The town is above a canyon in a mega taiga forest. Many of the buildings are built with materials he didn't seem to agree with, bricks, concrete plaster, tiles, etc. He doesn't know why just the materials of the buildings felt odd to him. Mikos finds a sign that says "Welcome to Konyu" and next to it is a flag pole. The flag pole has a sign reading "Panami Nation's Proud Flag." The town itself feels dead, abandoned, and oddly scattered. Mikos doesn't like the fact there are no tall buildings. The buildings seem to follow no pattern and are just put in spots that seem ideal for the terrain. The roads just lead from building to building.

Mikos realizes that his first goal is to find food, and then a place to stay. He has no idea why he's here.

What now?

The owl finally does something and swoops in on you snatching the amulet with its claws. It lands back on its perch and presses the gems. The forest changes back to blue and you can no longer see the sky again. The tree you are on is green once again.

The owl says, "This amulet cannot leave this forest or else it will die." Clearly a bluff and it's also your way out of this dumb blue forest. The owl perches on the top of the green tree. You probably won't get it by simply climbing back up the tree.

What now?

mm Okay before I proceed with the assault, I just want to know what you plan to assault Notingburg with. Like infantry units, tanks, helis, etc.

Are you just going to bring infantry units, tanks, and helis? Because I'm not sure that'll be enough actually lel.

“Rickety buildings of questionable make, a lack of physical sustenance, and no memories to my name. How delightful. Surely there would be someone who can solve at least one of these... issues.”

For now, Mikos will conjure up a small fireball to keep himself warm (shorts are NOT ideal after all), and some small motes of light orbiting around him to light the way. He’ll be going from door to door until he’s either tried em all or he gets some kind of response.

 

Fine... I'll bring bomber drones, cluster missiles, Armored helicopters, Mini gun drones, tanks, even the tyazhelyye artilleriyskiye utk, and the Bären mit Waffen und Jetpacks. Keep in mind we heavily sabotaged them, destroying tanks, Helicopters, and even redirected their drones against them

Okay that would be ideal.

The first resident tells Mikos to go away. The second building doesn't bother opening its doors. Third time's a charm.

Mikos knocks on this ugly looking brick building that has a lot of garbage littered on the side of it. The door is answered by a young child, a boy.

"Dad?" the boy calls back into the building. "Some strange man is here!"

Mikos hears some indistinct shouting in the back acknowledging the boy's concerns. A few moments later, a man about Mikos age looks him up and down and asks, "Hi, how may I help you?"

Okay. I'll add to your character sheets in the OP tmr. You're in for a surprise. The animals are jokes tho right?

Today is the day. Rows and rows of tanks and men sit outside Notingburg. Helicopters and drones hover in the sky and Beplep himself is in the sky apart of them. The city of Notingburg itself has lined up a few tanks and soldiers but has no air support. The tanks and infantry of the union alone outnumber Notingburg's forces 10 times over. It feels as if bringing all of these forces were pointless.

Suddenly, one of the tanks from the side of Notingburg fires and hits one of the union's tanks sitting in front. Notingburg is looking for a fight. Both sides begin exchanging fire. Only soldiers from the side of the union are charging in. The helicopters and drones fly in and attempt to wreak havoc on the tanks but suddenly, a line of transparent green and red shields appear over the tanks shielding them from air attacks.

The union forgot about magic...

A fireball comes down and strikes a helicopter down to earth. The union has already experiences about 5 lost tanks and 1 lost helicopter compared to only 1 lost tank from Notingburg in the first minute.

What now?

Midas for some reason created an anti Magic Trophy system. Magic users get locked out lf magic as soon as they try to cast magic.

Midas calls for renforcements from the other citys... It will take a bit before the arive.

Also back story. Midas Didn't expect for them to use magic but had the Anti magic trophy system just incase.

(The trophy system covers the whole city)

Midas starts blowing up tanks with rpg, grenades, and anti tank turrets.

Backup arrives with anti air, and anti tank weaponry. They test out the Anti Tank Turret by blowing up 8 tanks.

The Anti Air Support decimates the Helicopters

Bep commands the Minigun drones to takeout the Infantry.

Midas calls for extra backup just incase

Also the antimagic Trophy system Dispells all current magic

 

Don’t worry about air. As I said, Notingburg has no air support, only you have air support.

As soon as Midas activates the anti magic trophy system, the green and red barriers disappear. However, to Midas’s dismay, fireballs still reign from the sky taking down helicopters, drones, and tanks. There’s an unordinary magicae supporting Notingburg.

A massive blanket of fire is created over Notingburg’s tanks shielding them from Midas’s aerial support once again. Any projectiles that touch the fire either melt or explode on contact from what Midas and Beplep can tell.

However, this does not stop Notingburg’s tanks and infantry from being decimated by Midas’s forces on the ground. Both sides are now experiencing equal losses, before a massive green transparent eye symbol appears in the sky over Notingburg. Somehow, all of the green and red transparent barriers appear again allowing the unordinary fire magicae to focus on taking down enemy tanks. The Shardaic Mages holding up the barriers also help with the attack as massive bolts of lightning and holy white blasts come from the sky easily destroying Midas’s air support. Midas’s side is now taking heavy losses but due to Notingburg’s lack of numbers, at this pace, Notingburg’s forces will fall first before Midas’s. Still, it’s best to minimize losses.

Midas and Beplep realize that all of Notingburg’s magicae are attacking / defending from range and are hidden in the city behind the tanks and infantry.

What now?

“Child, I have not ventured out of this forest ever in my life. Nor will I ever dare to change this forest to green again. That was horrendous.”

Changing the forest to green is probably the only way out of here despite not making too much sense. This forest has some strange magical properties over it.

What now?

 

Midas has no choice... It is heavily deadly we tell everyone to retreat very LOUDLY after 10 minutes we are gone... Then KABOOM several Cluster Missiles and Cruise missiles were launched at them absolutely Destroying them, back up arrives and we heal our wounded soldiers and rush back to take what ever is left of the city

Charming town, isn’t it. But perhaps the townsfolk are simply a product of their situation. Shame I can’t claim the same. But at any rate, things are starting to look dire. Hopefully this next... house... is a bit more hospitable.

“Greetings my good sir. I appear to have been left in the wilderness without any memory of my past or where I came from. Would you be able to spare me some food and shelter until I have some bearing as to where I should go? I’d be willing to assist wherever necessary during my stay, of course.”

Of course, Mikos will move the fireball away from anything that seems flammable, as to not cause any damage to the place.

 

I look for something to disinfect the wounds. After finding it I'll say to thr kid "This will sting a bit" then I disinfect the wound and wrap it up with bandages. Then i do the same for the other knee. After doing that I'll do whatever you do to treat a burn

 

Late reply but yes, Nico and Will will have some of the ambrosia, but not too much. Enought to heal their wounds and give Nico some of his power back.
Also can Nico take others with him in his shadow travel or does that require Ms. O'Leary(or the hellhound if I spelled that wrong)

 

Also we have scouts to see the damage done before we Rush again... Keep in mind this is all happening in a span of 2 minutes

Midas's forces begin to retreat and Notingburg's forces give a little chase to encourage retreating. Notingburg's stop chasing after a couple minutes. Midas waits for 10 minutes and watches as the green and red barriers created by the Shardaic Mages disappear as Notingburg's forces get more relaxed. Some of the infantry goes back into the city as well. As soon as the last shield disappears, Midas launches the missiles. Apparently, the fire elementalist did not relax. A huge wall of fire is formed in front of the tanks but barely helps at all. All the infantry that stayed in front died and all of the tanks were destroyed except for three in the artillery strike.

Midas's forces begin to rush into Notingburg. The three remaining tanks of Notingburg retreat into the city as Notingburg realizes the tanks would be destroyed if they were kept in front. A huge protective, transparent, green dome appears around the main city (referring to tall buildings). Midas's forces begin focusing fire onto a small part of the dome and are able to breakthrough.

Midas's forces rush through the bottleneck. As soon as the first few tanks rush through, they get instantly barraged by lightning strikes, fireballs, and slabs of earth. It's a bottleneck, there's no way to get through there.

Midas and Beplep need to find another way to get into the city but the huge green dome stands in their way.

What now?

You throw a couple rocks and pieces of wood at the owl who does not seem to care about the projectiles.

"You have to take the amulet outside of the forest to escape. I can't allow that!" the Owl 'shouts'. You still don't understand why you're here in the first place, or why you have to take the amulet outside of the forest it has power in. Nothing really seems to be adding up.

What now?

The man takes a moment to consider taking Mikos in before saying, "Yes, you can stay for a bit." The man makes way for Mikos to enter the small house. Mikos comes inside and sees a main room with a small kitchen, and a small living room with an old style TV. Wait, antique TV? The living room has a torn couch and a small table with 3 different sized chairs. Mikos sees a little hallway at the back of the room that probably leads to a few bedrooms and a bathroom. The little kid is playing with some blocks on the blue and green rug in the living room.

"We have a spare room in the back," the man says and walks towards the hallway. Mikos follows the man. The small house has 3 bedrooms from what Mikos counts. One is used by the kid and one is used by the man and presumably his wife. The empty room Mikos is being lent thankfully has a bed (no bed sheets or pillows though) and a walk-in closet. The man gives Mikos some spare bedsheets and a pillow.

"I'm Aliruja," the man says. "What's your name?"

You find alcohol and cotton balls. Good enough.

The kid whimpers a little bit as you disinfect the wounds and bandage them up. You then find a lotion for the burn. There's a bottle with the brand name, Rain, and it's a lotion with aloe vera. Should be suitable for the burn. You apply the lotion to the burn and then wrap bandages loosely around the burn, making sure not to apply any pressure to the burn.

The man stands idly by and when you're done treating the kid, he asks, "Will this cost anything?" referring to the treatment. The man is not one of the kid's parents which makes you wonder why he's looking out for the child when no one else seemed to care enough.

What now?

I am pretty sure Nico can shadow travel others without Mrs. O'Leary.

Nico and Will take some of the ambrosia and heal up. The question now is how are they going to get back?

The bell in the clock tower rings and Nico and Will watch as crowds of people make their way towards the clock tower.

It's hard to figure out what exactly to do since they don't know how they got here in the first place. The "black hole" just came out of nowhere for seemingly no reason.

They may want to learn more about the city they are in right now and figure out how to get past the language barrier.

What now?

Simple, Midas uses a strange book, sacrafices 2 animals to disable all other magic for only an hour. We launch a cruise missile to take care of SOME of the mages and tanks and start rushing in.
