Question About Hollow Knights Platforming Difficulty

Now If I had to count the many people who've winged about the white palace or path of pain i'd probably have all the money in the world, however from what I've seen it really doesn't seem as bad maybe it's just because the majority of people who are appealed by Hollow Knight's gameplay aren't appealed by the platforming most of the time, and it shows as platforming isn't that much of a big factor into Hollow Knight.

Then again for some reason I haven't at all spent at least 100 hours into this game even though it's one of the most stunning games I've ever seen, probably because the Summit D side is killing so many times that I think even counting my new found Deaths in Golden Ridge D side, Summit D side has still killed me more times and I haven't even made it through the halfway point.

 

Path of pain is a-ok I don't see much fuss over it

 

Honestly it is a very hard area
However the honey charm basically cancels the difficulty at the cost of all your free time
