Well yes but in order for you to do combat actions on your own, you're going to have to be a little more specific.

For instance, you said: "Will fires an arrow at the fireball dude while Nico dodges and summons some undead soldiers" I took this action and followed everything it said. However, what Nico was going to do with the undead soldiers was unstated so I tried to be a little creative about it idk. Notably, in the previous post to this message, I said the fire dude summoned another fireball and shot it at Nico and Will. So when you said Will would shoot an arrow at the fire dude, I said the arrow and fireball intercepted and the arrow disintegrated.

Now notably, I did become a little hands on with the whole parrying between Nico and the sword wielder so in the future, I'll allow you to react on your own to these instead of letting it play like a movie scene.

If you don't like me dictating your combat actions, I can step out of it but it will take a lot more posts to get through combat sequences unless you specify the actions Will and Nico are doing.

Will and Nico are able to escape onto the roofs and flee before the three attackers pursue them. They've ran a few blocks away. They may want to heal first and then get to know the city.

There's going to be a significant language barrier.

mm I see what you're trying to say but this is not how the timezones work.

The whole map is taking place during the modern timeline but parts of the map have had their cities, geography, and people reverted back to older times which is why the modern countries tried to make everyone to agree to change their calendars to the year 2112 when the barriers first fell.

Idk if that made any sense.
