Adventure set and max out strength stat.

lvl 20 is not worth making a build for. I suggest gettin up to level 40ish before really considering what armor you throw on.

    You shouldn't get a build until level 95+ <3

Now I'm not a build god. But through out the whole game, you have builds. It really PISSES ME OFF that people don't understand. You use a weapon? It's a build. You put on armor. It. Is. A. Build.

Now I made this for you. All lvl 19-20, it may not be useful for long, but if you need it for a boss here you go man
    https://wynndata.tk/s/8uv3e7

Maybe the gatekeeping should stop? Why not spend five minutes putting low levels items together for people who want them. FFS lol

But yes, the build has no health regen, so you'll need potions, but it has decently good spell spam, vanish only costing 1 and good thorns. It should do ok damage. For assassin, from my knowledge, you would want decently low spell cost to vanish away so while you wanted max DPS, I went for that instead. I do hope this helps you and gives you access to a new tool to look up items and test them.

Edit: I don't believe anyone should just write off players going "Wait till X level to do builds." because they get there and have no idea what to go for or what might be best for them. They have a general idea of how they play the class but they have no idea if they need any Major ID's, or any ID in particular that they would need to make the build great. Teach younger players. Teach low level players. Show them what can be good with builds, what they might want to go for. And then let them make their own as well. Let the find help for their level. Let stupid builds that will never work get generated. I'd much rather watch a new player at the game spend an extra hour in the game trying to make a build that works with how they want to play then them spending that hour RUSHING past the story, and the map, and the lore just because they were told by a bunch of high level people that they need to do builds at high levels. So when they fight that dungeon boss that kills them, the only information they have is, "I have to get high level to do builds." Not, "I can get other items at THIS level and then try again." So they rush right past it and come back when it no longer means anything.

And with potions/scrolls/foods this build is actually pretty good at level.

They do have 40, so you could replaced a ring/bracelet/helm with an item that gives points

@Saint_Purple I just don't want newbies to waste their money into builds that cost a lot because they will be needing that money later in the game. No need to get so pissed about that.

money gotten before level 50 is negligible in an endgame lens

but on a different note, any build you use at level 20 will change... just about every level

so honestly, there is no real point spending 5 minutes slapping items onto a build when you could spend those same 5 minutes leveling up at any nearby grind spot and then you have another level... which means another build...

Not pissed about you wanting lower levels wasting money. Pissed about writing it off and pretending it's not something
1.) they don't need to worry about
2.) that it's not something they can learn anyway.
3.) A lot of the items one can use in these low level builds are decently common/quest items

My problem, is the gate keeping. Making them believe the MUST rush just as Salted said. If you want to tell them, "Hey, you could use this, here is some items you could use for X playstyle, just DON'T waste your money buying it off market. If you find it then you find, if not then not." The post was /made/ because
I'm sure you can really understand that just telling them "wait till lvl 90" writes him off... Right? That's what upsets me. We've been playing for a long time and this guy is new, he wanted to learn and you wrote him off because he wasn't high enough level. The gate keeping is what annoys me. I wasn't trying to be rude to you, but it's a pretty big problem in our community.

@:wynnic_e: yeah they won't have much time with it, but it does help them know what they wanna do with the class :P I remember being so confused for lvl 30-60 with my mage, having no idea what I wanted to do and how the items in this game functioned, what was the best skill points for bosses, etc.

im gonna be honest, i really didn't read much of this because it looks an awful lot like an uninformed rant

    a) low level builds become obsolete within 5 levels
    b) if you know a playstyle you enjoy most ids are self explanatory, and at low level you dont need to really consider the parts of endgame building. "wow, i like spamming spells." then slap items with spell damage and mana? "wow, melee is cool!" main attack %? main attack neutral damage? "i am tamnk." health, health regen?
    c) best advice you can reasonably give somebody in a situation like this is that you should assign skill points based on their effect and by how you want to play. intelligence reduces spell costs, so if you like using spells, go for that. don't bother on melee builds. especially with assassin, because primary spell you will use is vanish, which is always 1 mana. you can tell them stuff like 68 int threshold is a good point to reach, but specific item advice generally won't help, as, like i said above, you will outlevel it rapidly
