So I was just casually looking over the Wynncraft Map and I remember encountering a shrine for the Uth rune, and seeing the Tol rune altar beneath the Cathedral made by the Olmic civilization who also made Time Valley by the way.

The Uth shrine is next to the Avos Territory (lv. 90) name, and the Tol altar can be found at the Ruined Olmic City (lv. 100) in the map.

Edit: Forgot the Uth Shrine in Aldorei

    Theory:
So from what I remember, there is the Nii rune, Uth rune, Tol rune, Az rune and Ek rune (the last two not implemented yet for whatever purpose its for, maybe for Corrupted Galleon Dungeon?).

What if there was a sort of special location for each rune, be it a shrine, altar or whatever? I mean clearly these places are important. What if Fruma has a place for the Nii rune or even the other two runes? That could explain why their monarchy is so powerful in magic, given the fact that the civilizations that have a connection with these runes are very powerful, for instance, the Olmic civilization was shown to live in the Silent Expanse for a period of time where the Tol altar is found and they built the Time Valley which can manipulate time itself. Perhaps the Corkus Electromagic has something to do with the Uth rune? Maybe not, but the shrine was built by something or someone.

    Notes:
Dont take this seriously, I just wanted to make a interesting observation and theory with it, it's a just a GAME THEORY... xD

In AHC it's referenced that the runes are Twain magic

I interpreted that as twains using runes to seal the corruptor away, but I think the runes themselves are far older, possibly dating to the older civilization that used the Wynnex crystals and all that.

Yeah the Twains are powerful, but maybe the runes are behind that power, or perhaps they are just naturally that strong. I think the runes are much older than Twain, and proof of that is the existence of the Tol rune Altar made by the Olmic civilization, as I'm sure none of the Twains ventured in the Silent Expanse

If you were to use the wynnpack in a vanilla world you would quickly find out that the textures for az and ek exist (all the runes are doors), being light blue and orange from what i can remember. The textures also appear on mob totems.

Then again, this is a alternate reality, many things could be different entirely.

Now I don't think the Uth rune is from electromagic as Uth runes are guarded and located at the Avos, so it's clearly Avian magic.

Uth runes aren't necessarily Avian magic.
All runes seem to point towards a certain "aspect" rather than element or origin. That or I'm trying to overanalyze things.

Yeah it’s weird because each rune has a color that seems to match up with an element, and you have lore like Az’s (the bow not the rune) that suggests that the Ek, Az and Nii runes correlate with fire, thunder, and water, but then you also have the level 93 Uth weapons that use every element even though Uth should have an air affinity by that metric. It’s not really explained well and is kind of contradictory, not to mention that the explanation in Order of the Grook is kind of hand waved as ‘we dunno’
