Looking For A Fix For My Texture Issues

i recently joined this server and i have been having issues with certain textures, quite a few textures appear as just the sort of default npc head and i was wondering if anyone knew a fix

 

you mean items or actual blocks in the game? Because item head textures just turn back to default head after you relog afaik

 

Its items, but also things like mushrooms and ores as well as enemys and bosses with custom heads all have the default npc head thing, im kinda having a hard time figuring out how to explain it, ive tried reloging but that doesnt seem to fix it

if you're not already, try using 1.12.2 because there's been similar bugs in higher versions I believe. making a bug report about it is still good, although that's likely a way to fix it

 

I've tried using 1.12.2 and that doesn't fix the issue

 

dont know of any other solutions for this specific problem then
