Darker Cobblestone?

Hey,

Does anyone know if this darker looking cobblestone is a certain type of block or something else? I have a Wynncraft texture pack but I still can't see it anywhere. It confuses me

 

Just looks like the strange shadow mechanics Minecraft has. In many other servers I have seen pockets of pitch black blocks in diret sunlight, don't think this is a huge issue

At first, I thought it was a glitch but in some places such as Rodoroc, it looks completely intentional and has these patterns with the light and dark cobblestone. It also does this with stone bricks also but no other blocks.

I placed the infested stone block and the regular stone next to each other but they look exactly the same

 

What does F3 say?

 

hm, it DOES say infested blocks. Maybe I just have a bad texture pack

 

You could be either
-Using a version of the pack that's in the wrong game version's format
-Using a modified or unofficial version of the pack
-Using other packs that override infested stone model or block state
-Testing them on a server with a messy version of viaversion
-Using mods that change textures, blocks, how they're handled, or are using a bad version of forge
