    Hello!
I am looking into doing some lootrunning in 1.19, but I've run into a few questions.
#1: Is there a best route to run, or is it largely a matter of taste? Secondarily, have chests been moved since 1.18?
#2: As per Kaelan's guide, logging in and immediately lootrunning will result in bad loot. How long should I wait before beginning my route?
#3: This is tied to #2. As chests get better loot as they get older, but joining and immediately lootrunning gives you bad loot, is it worth it to try and snipe an older world?
    Thank you!

Yikes, forgot to put in a link to Kaelan's Guide for those interested. Here it is! Note that it is quite old, so most of the routes will be outdated.

Heya! As someone who's done a lot of loot running, I think I can answer these quite confidently for ya!
#1: There's not really a best route. I'd say it's all just preference. I do think that a full Canyons of the Lost run would be the least profitable, due to most of the chests being level 80 or 85, meaning the mythics you're getting, aside from in t3/4 chests, will be pretty lackluster overall. While Corkus has a lot of level 85 chests, you can easily cut most of them out that are out of the way, and still have a large number (about 80-90) level 90 - 100 chests. Rodoroc, Sky Islands, and Silent Expanse all have consistently high level chests.

#2: Looting a freshly restarted server will mean that chests haven't had time to generate loot, yes. If you have access to discord and a server with motobot (link to thread and bot here: https://forums.wynncraft.com/threads/discord-bot-for-wynn-utility-commands-moto-bot.223425/ ) You'll be able to run the ">up" command to see a large server list and how long each has been up. Any server past 2 hours should generally be okay to loot!

#3: Sorta answered in the last question too. Though, joining immediately and looting has no penalty and doesn't result in less loot, as long as the server has been up for a while!
Hope this was able to answer those questions for you!

Thanks! You've been really helpful. I have one more question: What's the general equation on Loot Bonus vs Walk Speed? To elaborate, I am using this build, which takes me to -5% walk speed due to the slipstream not being maxed. When running, I switch to my Return to Ether, which packs a +19% walk speed, and then switch back when I open chests. Is this a generally good set-up, or should I try and swap some things around?

Of course! I'm not exactly sure when walk speed becomes better than loot bonus or loot quality, but I do know there is a point. For instance, this is the build I put together before 1.18 and crafting came out- https://wynndata.tk/s/pq5cx7 Like yours, I also used Scrooge when opening chests too. I think I like the mining Fever, Trench, and Slipstream better, just because of the survivability. I would maybe consider replacing the rings with Kaze though, just because more walk speed means more chests per minute, which makes looting more efficient too.

Another example would be my current loot run build- https://wynndata.tk/s/x3vmwh where I favor large amounts of walk speed over a little bit of loot bonus and loot quality. In my opinion, the single best lootrun build, alongside Warp, Discoverer, and Moontower builds, which I'd say are equal with it. I do think your build looks pretty great so far, without the use of crafted items!

I like the idea of using Kaze. Do you think I should replace both rings with two Kazes, or just replace the Ring of Generosity? The Old Keeper's Ring has 26% lb, which is very nice, but it gives me negative health regen which kills me slowly, forcing me to waste inventory slots on potions, so I'm not sure if I should go one Kaze or two. On a related note, how much would a max/near-max walk speed Kaze run me?

Ok first of all, do not snatch/camp chests that most people lootrun in, for example rodoroc and sky. Chests works like this, depends on how long until the last person opened the chest, the longer it was the better the loot would be. But after usually 2-3 hours It is not worth waiting more since at that point someone else might had snipe the world. Most people now days goes on the lootrunners discord to record which world they are going to lootrun which tells u majority which worlds you should go for loot running. Also, I do not know what type of loot runs you are going for, ingredient or farming for mythic? If for trying to grab mythic I would recommend at least 60 percent loot quality at least since loot quality does help with finding higher tier loot a lot. Also walkspeed for me as a mage loot runner does not matter as to me since I have teleport. I don’t really recommand loot running in rodoroc or sky if you are mainly using archers, I would say ur best option would be probibly slient expanse lootruns, (go check out the one that yoshiworld has)
Truth is, about loot bonus above 100 percent is usually not worth, since actually right now loot chests are more effected by loot quality. Walkspeed only really matter if you are going to mainly run as archer but mage technically gives you more benefits.
    1. Teleport is very broken for shortcutting to chests and flying over areas that u know have no chests.
    2. Heal, can cancel all negative health effects, so you dont need to grab pots all the time.
    3. If you are really desperate for speed, you can grab sp pots and drink it to improve your speed, or if you really have to you can just craft walk speed consumables.

Thanks for your input! I try to stay away from Rodoroc and Sky Islands when lootrunning, though I am fairly new to the concept. In response to your other points, I am trying to grab a mythic or other valuable item. Unfortunately, I main a 96-level archer, so I would not be able to use mage and could not go into the Silent Expanse. Secondly, I have only used loot bonus rather than loot quality items because the price of loot quality items is too high for me: one piece would cost more than my whole set.
To be honest, I think I'm mostly set with my lootrunning setup, except for the questions about which ring or rings to replace with Kaze and how much a good Kaze would cost. Do you have any input on the subject or should I just wait for @Ichikaaa?
