Your characters can inly tell HP by the extent of the other's injuries, but to make things eeasier, yes

You continue down the sewers, and eventually you enter into a large chamber. There are 3 side tunnels. Emeralds are scattered around in the chamber, making a path down one of the side tunnels.

You return to the city.

 

I point at the emeralds "my guess is that that's the right way"

 

Collect the emeralds

 

You follow the emerald path, picking them up as you go, ending up with a total of 24 more emeralds by the time the trail ends.

The group enters into a large room, with emeralds scattered in piles, and a few signs and papers.

What structures do I see, what does it look like from my perspective?

 

You entered into a room a few posts above this. It seems to just be a large stone box for the most part. The floor has a semi-design, but it seems that there was no effort put into making this room pretty.
