This is just a short question, if you wore Breathing Helmet II, and had high enough health regen, could you just sit in the bottom of a pool of water and not die? I heard the Breathing Helmet slows how fast you drown, and enough health regen can completely negate the drowning and keep you alive. Is this possible, and if so, how much health regen does it need?

 

You are correct in that with enough health regen, you can stay under water indefinitely. The breathing helmet is just to slow down the rate of -health. I have done it while gathering at sea vale reef. I do not know what the minimum health regen you need to do this. Also, don’t overlook items that have -ws and have good health regen. WS is not effective under water (just have to take it off when on land).
