Casting a spell then casting it again/cast another spell shortly will increase the mana cost every time, then after a certain amount of time the mana cost resets to normal.

I was just wondering what are the conditions for the mana cost to reset back to normal, thx.

    Minecraft:
The first time you cast a spell (let's say meteor) it will cost the base amount.
The second time you cast the same spell, it will still cost the base amount, but the next spell you cast will cost 1 mana more.
This effect stacks, so while spell 3 costs the base mana + 1 mana, spell 4 costs the base mana + 2 mana, spell 5 costs base mana +3 mana.

This chain is easy to break: By casting another spell! That spell will cost that spell's base modifier + the bonus cost, but resets the whole thing.

    Examples:

    Cast meteor (Base cost)
Cast meteor (base cost, next one costs 1 more)
Cast meteor (base cost + 1, next one costs 2 more)
Cast heal (base cost + 2, next one costs a normal amount.)

    Cast meteor (Base cost)
Cast meteor (base cost, next one costs 1 more)
Cast heal (base cost + 1, next one costs a normal amount)

    Cast meteor (base cost)
    Cast heal (base cost)
    Cast meteor (base cost)
    Cast heal (base cost)
