Alth:"Well I see no point wasting time up here, let's go end some grimy little rat buggers."

Alth reloads his weapon and starts into the cave

I take out a copper piece and cast Light on it, causing it to shed a heatless golden glow. I hold it up like a torch as I enter the cave. (20 foot radius of bright light + 20 foot radius of dim, for those who lack darkvision.)

Right in front of you is a swarm of rats, or at least it once was. Now, the rats flesh has all melted off leaving skeletal vermin in it's wake.

Further down you can see a rat of unreal proportions, the size of a dog. And further down a broiling mass of rats.
