@SPYROHAWK so Erevan, Kyleas, and I guess Althiaos and the kid are going to the farm.

 

Althiaos sees alfred leave

Alth starts jogging after alfred he shouts back

Alth:"You're talking to a kenku heat they're really good at mimicking things I came here from masin with that guy I can explain later!"

 

Heat, still confused and now slightly embarrassed that he made a large deal out of nothing simply stands still for a while.
“Then, Wave, I apologize for the confusion and fear I may have caused you. But now, judging by the haste of my party’s leave I believe I must go. If you wish to come along, I will not stop you but I cannot ensure your safety if something... strange emerges.”

Heat pulls a gold coin out of his pouch and gives it to Wave.
“Otherwise, here. Buy yourself something here in the inn, preferably. I would not want that stolen from you.”

Heat walks in his usual clunky, heavy fashion.
“Farewell, fellow Masinian.”

He exits, and mutters under his breath before picking up his pace to catch up with Althiaos:
“How many others have fled my homeland as Althiaos and the dark Althiaos have?”

 

Before you leave, he makes a happy squak.

Everan, Kyelas, Althaios, George, and Heat meet up with Alas at Hachie's farm. Is anyone else jumping in on this?

 

Alas turns to the group as they gather the rats' corpses in a corner :

"Hey guys ! They grow rats in this farm ! It's the gathering month ! Wanna help ? There are still a lot of mature ones in the dirt !"

 

Alth:"I Don't like rats, the're tiny and hard to hit but that's why we should put em down"

Alth turns to the kid
Alth:"I don't wanna have ya getting sick or bit, you can watch from a distance"

 

Alas : "Who's that kid ? OH ! I saw you playing with someone else yesterday. You might get trouble with this bird, get back with the other boy."

 

He turns to Althaios. "I think you are a bad influence on me!"

He starts to walk away, unless anyone stops him

 

Alth flies and lands in front of him

Alth:"And I think you're an extortionist punk not to be left alone."

 

Alas : "If you can already tell his personnality, it means you already did a mess don't you ?"

 

Alth:"Hardly, the bugger called me an old man and tried to convince me to buy him eggs to go and throw up against houses"

Alth turns back to the kid
Alth:"You don't have to watch us kill the little ratty gremlins, but if you don't wanna you're gonna have to stay here with this farmer where somebody can watch you got it? Otherwise I'll have that big clanker watching over you and mate lemme tell you now that hunk o metal has NO sense of humor"

 

Alas : "Why would YOU have to keep track of a kid's doing ? That's what I meant. To be in charge of that kid you probably did something again, right ?"

 

I sigh at the shenanigans going on around me and walk towards the field.

Can you describe the current situation a bit for me?

 

Alth:"Me? Bloody hells no this was all heat's fault felt he needed to play guard again."

 

Alas : "Ok. Not that I care much, just wanted to blame you cause that's fun."

Alas :
"Situation, this farm..."

As Alfred goes back onto Alas' shoulder

"Why the hell do you smell tea ?"

"So ... This farmer has some rats problems. 'Rats ? That's easy to deal with !' you say ? Nah. See this farm ? From what I investigated, there is a cave down there that might be bigger than the farm with A LOT of rats inside. And since you wouldn't want to let me go alone in that because I would cause a mess and that I don't know their number, I asked Alfred to get some of you. By the way, the entrance might be there."

Alas points to the east part of the farm.

 

Alth:" A CAVE FULL OF 'EM? Mate I don like that at all that's gonna be bloody terrible"

he shivers

Alth:"Any idea on how high the ceiling clearance is gonna be over there? Don wanna bonk my noggin on the ceiling and cause a good old cave in..."
Alth:"But a controlled cave in might work. I'm sure I could scrounge up some gun powder and we roll in a little explosives and boom! The rats are gone... and maybe a chunk of farmland but that shouldn't be to much of a problem 'ight?"

 

Alas : "How would I know ? I'm not a rat, I didn't build that cave !"

Alas : "Hachie, anything to say on the explosion idea ?"

 

Erevan: "I think not. Certainly not without investigating first. Arable land is a scarce and precious commodity out here in the deadlands. Our goal is to save his farm from destruction, not find a more complicated way to destroy it."

 

Alas : "I wasn't going to agree with this idea, but that's his farm, I wasn't going to answer instead of him."

Heat beckons George.
