Dropped Quest Item

Hey all,

Not sure if this is where to ask about this but i couldn't find any way to send a ticket.

Basically i accidently dropped a quest item i need to complete a quest. I dropped the [Stringy hair] for the quest "The shadow of the beast" and now i cant hand it in and i cant repeat that part of the quest to gain another one.

Is it possible for a member of staff to help me resolve this issue ?

Ok, so ive done that and it just gave me a bunch of useless stuff i cant get rid of now but not the string xD

Any thing else i can do ?

 

You want to fill your inventory with an emerald in each space, then fill the trash item space with an emerald and throw the trash item out. It won't come back.

But what about the quest item im actually missing ? Will i have to wait for staff to help me out ?

 

Can you redo the previous parts of the quest? Try restarting at the part where you got the string

 

I cant unfortunately, i already tried it and the NPC just gives me his next step to head off and follow the footsteps.

 

Same /fixquests doesn't work can't complete it any suggestions?

 

you are physically unable to drop any item in the game with the data tag "quest item" are you sure it wasn't "untradeable" aka a quest reward. If it was a quest reward, you're out of luck.

Now if you deleted via the crafting menu then you might be able to get it back /fixquests but it is temperamental and might not give it back to you. I'd recommend looking up the item and make sure it is a quest item.

If it is an item you get DURING the quest to do another part of the quest (which I'm confused why it isn't marked "quest item"). Follow @btdmaster advice and repeat the quest steps found

Once again, if it was a reward you can not get back again unless you make another character.
