Shinesting Scorpion Tail

Hello. I've been killing sand piles for a pretty long time now. I killed about 100 of them and didn't spawn the scorpion. Any suggestions how to find the shinesting scorpion?

 

Im pretty sure the sand pile with the scorpion in it has a purple star next to it's name, so look out for that.

Although it's quite rare, I recommend avoiding just looking for them and doing something like quests or discoveries while looking for one.

 

I'm guessing you want that necklace from the merchant? I did too, but it's not worth the time. Grab something else that's not as great, and you level up soon enough then be glad you didn't waste all the time you could have spent elsewhere for that necklace.

 

I got the tail like 20mins after posting this thread:D Yea i wanted to upgrade my accessories because i had them all around level 15 and I'm level 48.

 

Nice! Yeah, accessories aren't super worth it until you're about 50+ IMO. There are a few that are slight improvements, but most below that general area are like "9% walk speed" or " 5% thunder damage".

What element/class are you?

 

I'm warrior. Not going for specific element but my spear is thunder damage mostly. With armor, I focus on main attack neutral damage. I don't know if it's the best thing to do but i guess it works for me because I do more damage. I'm new so i don't know the best strats/builds:D

yea accessories don’t matter too much but this works. The negative hp regen may be a mild problem so you can substitute the leggings if you find it annoying
