You cast Soul Channeler with one of your spell slots. The white mist appears, but when it dissapates, there is no totem. "See what I mean?" the woman says. "Nothing can get through it. Not even a teleportation spell."

 

"Well then what are you going to do about it?" Xylina asks.

 

Well then I'm gonna go sleep while you guys talk it out

 

I stay silent while my friends talk out.

 

"There is no way through the barrier."

 

"Through the barrier... does that imply you know another way or is this sewer permanently blocked?"

 

"Probably permanently, although I found some side entrance that might lead into the sewers, but I need other adventueres above level 5 to help, and based on your gear, you aren't that level. Now, I advise you leave."

You head back to Ragni, Maxwell snoring in Vol'jin's arms. As you approach the city, Vol'jin shakes Maxwell awake, and the six of you re-enter the town of Ragni, searching for anyone who you could help.

 

Johan stays silent, waiting for others' suggestions or decisions.

 

"Should we head to see what lies beyond the other gates?" Xylina suggests.

 

"Yes... I'd suggest the southern gate."

 

"I would've said the eastern gate, but let's hear what the others have to say"

 

"I don't know much about Ragni so it doean't matter to me"

Vol'jin yells out that he can help anyone, and his wares of potions he has (though he doesn't have the kinds he's talking about on him)
