the thing is that almost all of good rank servers give bonuses for voting, people care for rewards rather than supporting a server they like

 

yes, but the giving rewards for voting i think is against the eula

 

Last I checked voting rewards was against the EULA. While Wynn followed the EULA, many servers blatantly disregard it with predatory and likely outright illegal practices, with voting rewards just being the tip of the iceberg.

 

why doesn't Mojang just, remove those servers? that's what i never understood

yes, i could give so many examples on this, basically every server that has a team behind it, or every server that is in contact with a youtuber somehow is against the eula (there are some exceptions, like wynn). also, i have reported one of these servers to mojang, about the breakage of the eula, guess what? the server is still up and nothing changed

 

why tho, they created the rule, why shouldn't they remove rule-breakers? It seems easy for them to just remove servers

 

Mojang gave Hypixel a pass to make a Gold Coin system that was EXACTLY like Wynn's old GC system, and what's worse is Hypixel just asked Mojang if they could breach the rule.

 

time to boycott Hypixel
but could Wynncraft also ask for a pass to then re-add the cold coin system?

How do you know they asked to breach the rule? Cosmetics don't even really go against that rule, Wynncraft just don't want to have cosmetic rewards for anything

Mojang did take action, blacklisting servers in violation. The servers bypassed the blacklist. Mojang could bring lawsuits to bare but that would be an expensive and long affair. Shutting down servers forcefully (which I have no idea if they can even do) would likely bring a slew of lawsuits against them that they'd rather not deal with.

 

Would you like to tell me or just ask me a stupid rhetorical question that adds nothing to the discussion? I think I know anyway, but it may help if you would flipping tell me in-case I'm mistaken
