94.71% of parkour is "jump from this block to that block" and I've had no real problems with it.

Man, I missed this generic "wHY nOt PuT yOUrSeLF iN OtHErS' sHOeS?!?!!" type of response.

    Parkours in Wynncraft are easy.

There is no parkour in Wynncraft that requires you to stay at full speed to consecutively jump over 4 block wide gaps, there is no parkour in Wynncraft that requires you to jump on fences above a thousand blocks deep pit, there is no parkour in Wynncraft that requires you to precisely land on a single floating iron bar. There are no blind jumps either. There are no 1x1 block towers with ladders spiraling up them.

There are parkours which require you to consecutively bounce from one block to another but one is in an end-game quest (A Journey Further; and it's not horrid at all) and the other is in a dungeon (CUR). There are parkours which require you to follow "snake blocks" but they aren't extreme either (If only lag didn't step in); these are few however thankfully. There is a parkour which can be difficult at first but it is easy to get a hang of quickly (EO). My apologies if I forgot anything from this list. I never tried Galleon's Graveyard yet so I can't refer to it.

And the rest? The rest is literally jumping across 2-3 block wide gaps or 1 block high and 1-2 block wide gaps. Which make up, by the way, the majority of parkours in this game. There is no excuse for not being able to beat these. Even the afforementioned ones can be beaten with persistence and patience. There is a much, much better alternative to complaining on the forums because you felt like the game is cheating on you after failing a "one block wide jump" three times: practicing, practicing, and practicing. This will certainly solve the problem.

Lastly, guess what? These parkours are easy for me because I had to go through the same "struggle" to master them. There were some which took slightly longer (the laggy ones oof) and there were some which took no more than one attempt.

no ones saying the parkours arent easy because thats not the issue here
its that some people literally cant do parkour for various reasons (and honestly having to train parkour just to play an rpg like this is stupid)

Personally, I think the parkour in Wynncraft is relatively easy. There are a few exceptions of course (and lag is always a pain with some parkour) and with low walk speed some parkour can be really hard or even impossible (doesn't seem fair to be biased against a low walk speed build, but I guess it's not a big problem).

What? What are the "various reasons"? Disabilities surely aren't one. Lag is completely unintentional (although in CUR it is insufferable) Lack of skill is certainly not a valid excuse. Also, really? Training for a relatively simplistic parkour so you can actually progress through the game that you are willing and wanting to play is now stupid. Didn't you have to learn to get used to practically every mechanic in Wynn? Didn't you have to get used to The Eye's fight pattern? Repetition is sometimes a necessary element if you want to learn to jump over a obstacle.

The question whether parkours are easy or not matters because if they were genuinely hard there would be a reason to not be able to beat them, however this way the only real reason is being lazy or too comfortable. There is no other reason.

I'm just going to put this here:

As a low level player I haven't had to go through much parkour in dungeons, but being a player with over 600 ping, parkour isnt all that hard. Yes its annoying that you get lagged back, yes its annoying that you have to redo it sometimes, but that's just something you have to deal with. I havent had too much trouble with any of the parkours other than the slime one where you have to let the plugin do the parkour for you, that got pretty bad with the constant lagbacks.

Essentially lag is pretty bad with plugins, but eventually you can do it with enough patience. Btw, lag will always be a part of wynncraft/servers in general.

Yes, they are. Arthritis is such a disability, to give an example. Some people simply don't have the hand-eye coordination (or hands, or eyes) to do parkour. Mojang themselves have already added accessibility options such as auto-jump and subtitles for disabled people, and it helps. Wynncraft doesn't have a defined skill floor, meaning it doesn't say how skilled you must be to play it. It's also an MMO, by which I mean that any major obstacle should be surmountable with the help of others. Wynn's parkour is easy for most people, but that's the thing: most people. There is a minority, no matter how small, that is excluded from parts of the game because of the only issue that help from other people cannot solve. Solutions have already been provided.
Accessibility means options, not easy gameplay.

Well, how are you gonna make parkour more disability-friendly without removing the parkour entirely? I mean, if you're missing a limb, I'm not really sure how you play the game without suffering from some level of difficulty. If you're blind in one or two eyes, how can you finish a puzzle or see if The Eye's gonna shoot a laser at you? There a lot of things disabilities can make harder and most of the time solutions are difficult to make for them.

lots of things would be harder with certain disabilities, yes.
but why would it be bad to implement features that make it easier

If anyone has those disabilities then why play Minecraft, much less a Minecraft server?

Well, it's no their fault they have disabilities, surely they can enjoy something.

Not impossible but extremely hard, and it takes alot of time. I think someone managed to play Fortnite with a controller without his right hand. As for blind, I guess you would need someone to tell you where you're going at all times.

It's actually a lot easier than you think. One of my friends doesn't have his left arm up to his elbow and he used to be better at fortnite than me(neither of us play anymore tho lol). He can definitely play mc more than fine.

Well, prosthetic arms, legs and hands are now slowly becoming more available, so I suppose disabilities are becoming less of an issue in real life. Man, I wonder if you can just connect your brain to a computer and play Minecraft with your mind O.o (Perhaps Elon Musk's "Neuralink" could make that come true)

Well, I'm not surprised, even the most advanced prosthetic arms are kinda slow compared to the immediate reaction of a human's arm.
Edit: just realized that was a seven year old video OOF

I guess its not bad to create alternate routes to people who cant do parkour. But it is definitively not close to the best thing wynncraft devs can do. If wynncraft had a much larger budget and team, then maybe it would be viable to implement many accessibility features to help the few people who need it, but nowadays it isnt worth a huge time commitment just to help <10 people than legit cant complete parkour or other parts of the gameplay, the time could be spent fixing/improving/creating other things that would improve the wynncraft experience for the vast majority. It is sad that people with certain disabilities cant enjoy wynncraft, but it is just too hard for too little.
