What's The Meaning Of These Item Attributes?

Can anyone explain what the item attributes mean to me?
For example:
+1/4s Mana Regen
+8% Main Attack Damage
+16%* Air Damage

I don't know what it exactly means, so I create a thread to solve my problem.

 

+1/4 mana regen means you will gain one more mana every four seconds
+8% main attack damage means that you will deal 8% more melee damage (melee is the left click attack, right click with archer).
16% air damage means that you deal 16% more air damage: you weapon deals different types of damage. There are 6 different types, 5 of which are elemental. air is one of the elements.

 

I know, but can I know that why there is a '*' symbol on the third example.

 

It means the roll is relatively high for that item
The higher the number of stars, the rarer the id roll is

you see, IDs are assigned to an item with a range, you could get two items both named glacial crest but with 5% air damage or 16% air damage
16% is quite high if the item in question is really a glacial crest as the max is 20%
