Why Gathering Does Not Yield Resources

    Tools have durability, (you can see the tool’s durability by hovering over it in your inventory), once a tool’s durability hits 0, you no longer get materials from gathering, you still get xp by gathering still. You can repair your tools at a blacksmith using scrap. You get scrap by scrapping weapons/armour/accessories at a blacksmith.

    I’m posting this because I just saw like 3-4 ‘why no resources’ threads.
    Also I don’t know if this has been posted before
    I think this might deserve to go onto FAQ tbh.

    Honestly, there should be an in-game message regarding this that appears when your tool breaks and once in a while if you gather with a broken tool.
    Even while knowing about this mechanic, it happend to me more than once that I just didn't realized my tool broke and continued gathering.

    It does get annoying, especially when you aren’t focusing on the game too much and waste about half an hour... yes I did that also Jungle is cancer

    This should really be taught in the tutorial, they should revamp kings recruit.

    I agree. Jumgle is by far one of thr nastiest places for leveling. Especially woodcutting.

    I imagine sky would be quite bad too, (I only have woodcutting 75 so I wouldn’t know).

    The reason jungle is so bad is because trees are big and scarse and you gotta walk a lot. And the mobs come like crazy. The sky islands aren't that bad tbh. They are way more chill.
