Talking Mushroom Discoveries!

I had the Talking Mushroom in my inventory when I entered the Void Village and it starting saying this:



I checked the Wiki, and this dialogue was not on the Talking Mushroom page.
While visiting that wiki page, I watched the guide video of the Talking Mushroom. While the Player was in the lab, you can see what appears to be a tiny Manticore in a test tube- clearly a nod to the Tiny Manticore character in Adventure Time!

 

To whoever designed the Talking Mushroom dialogue, that was a SICK burn

 

Agreed! The Talking Mushroom certainly packs a whole lotta attitude. The developers certainly outdid themselves this time, what with the sick burns and deep lore!

 

Here is a thread that compiles the mushroom talking dialogues for anyone who’s interested.
I also tried to take the talking mushroom to a few places but it didn’t activate any dialogues, did that happen to anyone too?

 

I wonder - does this Talking Mushroom dislike humans such as you because he resents the fact that he's no longer a human himself, and now stuck in a mushroom vessel? EDIT: turns out he's a villager, my knowledge of Wynncraft trivia is very minimal it seems

 

He might just be incredibly grumpy, like me in the morning

 

Aw, looks like the Void Village dialogue was already discovered... I might still be the first to catch the Tiny Manticore reference though!

 

I shouted "YEAH THEY ADDED NEW DIALOGUES" alone at my home. I hyped myself too much x) The creature looks goofy tho x)

 

If I remember the story correctly, he was a villager that got tricked by a scientist villager. The scientist promised him money for a “safe” test, the villager accepted it then he was turned to a mushroom and somehow ended up in the sky islands.

 

Is there Talking Mushroom dialogue in the Silent Expanse yet?

 

I did a bit of walk in it with the mushroom and nothing, I highly doubt there will ever been new one, if I'm not wrong, the person who added them is either not in the staff anymore or working in another field of the staff.

Yep, that villager. It was in his lab, down in his basement.

 

It is him. Do not approach him, he is dangerous.

 

According to Aaron on that one thread, there was one that we never found. But all he did was post a cryptic hint that made very little sense.
