As the journal said, there aren't any keyholes in the boxes.

The key's tag is labeled 7, while all the boxes are labeled 1-6.
Maybe there's something else here...

And the last one... Is a piece of the ripped journal!

It reads as follows:
"-red that there was a seventh box in the pile of boxes I hadn't seen. It was under all the other boxes and I had to pull on the tags of the boxes to uncover it."
"The seventh box had a keyhole that fit the key I had. Afterwards, a staircase down into the cabin's basement opened, but it was too dark down there for me to see anything."
"I'm going to go searching outside to see if I can find a lantern or flashlight to what's down there."
"I still have no idea why I'm compelled to write in this journal, it's like I'm not in control of what I do"
"I wonder if anyone would even find this..."
