Questions About Guardian And Its Major Id

Apologies if this has been answered elsewhere, but I was unable to find any answers for this

Anyways,

1. Let's say two players stood next to each other, both holding a Guardian. One of them takes, say, 5k damage. What happens to both of them, and how much damage does each player take?
   
   
2. Now let's assume that there are three players close to each other, two of them holding a Guardian, and one of them not. If the one not holding a guardian takes an initial 5k damage, what happens to all of them, and how is the damage distributed?

1.They take 2.5k dmg
2.They all take 2.5k dmg

Guardian’s major ID doesnt stack and the damage from major ID(2.5k) doesnt count towards the other guardian major ID.(so it will not keep on halving)

Is what I think will happen, since I’ve never tested anything. But I’ve used a guardian.
