Future Of Wynncraft

So what's for the next update? I know The Silent Expanse just released but I haven't played that much WynnCraft so far, but I love where it's going. I also know there is something called Fruma but I have no idea what that is...

Basically, my question is: what updates will come to WynnCraft and will the world get a few more expansions?

 

Usually there isn't much released on the updates, until like a month before they drop and the trailer is out, so the forums go crazy. Fruma is a kingdom behind ragni, where you start the game. It sends recruits to Wynn, but never the other way. This is the player's origin, as are the corkians who left Fruma via the mountains.

 

The Roadmap at this point, is probably:
Bug Fixes --> QoL improvements --> Fruma --> 1st & 2nd parts --> Dern

Some guys above are saying Fruma and Dern. I agree that these are likely candidates for major updates.

However, there might be major GUI and Gameplay updates inbetween. No one predicted the Economy update, and yet one day it was implemented, revolutionizing the game's crafting element.

In short, yes, land might be added, but I'm sure features will also be thrown in here and there.

 

Guild update? Jpresent was originally going to that for 1.18 (if he finished before the economy update) but he left, maybe someone else might be working on that?

GUI? You mean guilds? We definitely don't need a update on GUIs, we already have a necklace, two rings, a bracelet and a ingredient pouch taking up five slots. Also an entirely update based on GUIs sounds more likely a patch or a April Fools joke

 

I’m not sure if you understand what GUI means. It stands for Graphical user interface - in wynncraft it represents all the inventories accessible through merchants (i.e. trade market, blacksmith, banker). So I’m not quite sure why that person wants an update to these things but you can let them hope.

 

It would be logical to do like this:


1. 2020: Fix of many bugs.

2. 2021: Lore, Quests & Discovery Remakes of the Gavel Province.

- What is included in the second event?

The battle with Orphion. Gavel Discvoeries with a History, Gavel's Dungeons (Orphion, Dullahan, Mortal Mountain, Olux Dungeon)

3. 2022: Mob Update 2.

- What is included in the third event?

Updating the mechanics of mobs and all bosses (except for one - The Eye.)

4. 2022 (May affect the first quarter of 2023): Fruma Province.

- What is included in the fourth event?

The origin of the Protagonist. Discoveries. Dungeon with the Queen of Fruma.

5. 2023-2025: Dern - The land of Darkness.

- What is included in the fifth event?

Several Discoveries in Dern, which allow you to learn many things:

- How did the Portal to Dern come about?
- What happened to the Black Body of the Monster from the Ultimate Discovery?
- How did Bak'al appear?

Also, in Dern, we may well learn about the origin of the Ancients and Four Crystals. Dungeon and a few quests...

Remember, this is just a forecast. Take it seriously is not necessary...

 

Honestly think they could do 1 and 2 by the end of this year, but maybe early next year would be better as ya know it's not good to rush them (speculation)

 

Why that color I literally can’t read it in dark theme

 

I do know what GUIs are, I was talking about player inventory GUIs, as that is also a user interface, and how we already have enough customization to GUIs and we don't need anything else to take up any more slots, since 8 of them are already taken. Also the GUI update was already mostly implemented when item buyers were turned to blacksmiths, banks now have pages and all that stuff.

 

There is one "player inventory GUI" - and it is called just that: the "player inventory". But did they say that they wanted an update to the "player inventory GUI" and the slots inside it? No. They said he wanted a GUI update. And your argument about item buyers turning into blacksmiths and banks with pages is exactly what I said: not sure why this fellow wants an update to these things but you can let him hope.

What you said about already having 8 slots taken is completely true. I work on another minecraft MMORPG, and we use the crafting slots instead of taking hotbar slots. You can go ahead and make a suggestion about this is you want.

 

Sadly I think the next Update wont be Fruma...
