Okay so there are a lot of things about Wynncraft that just make zero sense. It's not really anyone's fault that these things exist, but any sort of excuse or reason would make the world of Wynncraft feel a lot more real, and less like just a game. Here are some of the things that i dont understand about Wynncraft.

Disclaimer: This is just a random list of plotholes/inconsistencies within the game, i mean no offense or insult towards the developers, designers, or writers who made them.

The Ragni King's Lack Of Generosity
Okay so, kings are supposed to be rich right? Well after doing The King's Recruit, you are rewarded an absolutely shameful 3 emeralds, which is honestly pathetic. I know this is the first quest and it wouldnt make sense if the king gave you a lot of money, like 15 EB, at level 1. But that's game design, logically, the king is being very selfish, giving what is basically a couple of cents to a soldier who just risked their life to reach you.

How In The World Are EMERALDS The Currency Here?
This one could very easily be fixed by including in some sort of lore that emeralds are much, much more common than in real life in Wynncraft. But we never get anything like that, emeralds are very very rare and would NEVER be used as currency basically anywhere. According to "My Irish Jeweler", emeralds are actually rarer than diamond, "When many people think of rare or expensive gemstones their first thought is of diamond. But it is emerald that are among the rarest of all gemstones and have a price tag to match."

Why Is Corruption Not A Concern To Anyone?
Other than Theorick of all people, has anyone tried to do anything about corruption since 589 AP? If i lived in Detlas, and a quarter of a mile away from where i live had giant black spikes and a portal to hell or whatever, i would be highly concerned. Imagine what it must be like for the citizens of Elkurn, they live practically 50 feet from the roots! And as far as i know, corruption is one of the biggest problems for the Wynn province, why do we not hear anything of any active effort to destroy the roots of corruption, or seal the portal, or something! We literally found a way to destroy corruption spikes in the corrupted village! Why doesnt Detlas start mass-producing the Highly Explosive Magical TNT!? Destroy the corruption spikes! Maybe they wont be able to get rid of the portal, but surely destroying the spikes must help with something!

Why Is Almuj So Much More Heavily Defended Than Detlas?
When a player discovers Detlas for the first time, they are specifically told that Detlas is heavily defended. And in Meaningful Holiday, we are told Detlas is a rich city, but we already knew that. In the same quest, we are also shown that Almuj has a bunch of poor starving people. So what i believe this quest, and lore, is telling us, is that Detlas = Rich and Heavily Defended and Almuj = Poor and Hungry.
So then why is Almuj's bank have a maze, a lock, and ~20 guards. When Detlas has zero locks, zero security measures, other than one single guard. It's ridiculous, if Detlas is rich, why is it's bank vault so tiny and underdefended!? This makes no sense, and i just dont understand it.

Why Do You Not Get Any Sort Of Reputation?
I get that in most quests you dont tell the person you're helping your name, or anything about you. But i would say that once you reach mid-game, and you've completed, let's day, 55 quests. I would think that by then, there would be stories about this random adventurer who goes across the land helping whoever, mind you that in 55 quests completed, you have:
Made friends with dead souls, blew up a corruption spike and saved a town, assassinated a traitor, escaped from pirates, stopped a robbery, stole from a powerful corporation twice, stopped a war, solved a city's food problems, saved the main power source of a gigantic city, stopped a smuggler and destroyed a giant mech, met Shrek, robbed a bank, and helped a famous painter.
There is no reason why you shouldn't have some sort of reputation, but you dont become known at all, you dont become a hero like Bob, you continue to be this random nobody that people dont know about.

Why Do Dungeon Mobs Drop Tokens?
Spiders, skeletons, ghosts, robots, slimes, it makes no sense that any of these things would drop golden blocks. And why would dungeons have doors that open with enough gold blocks, how does that even make any sense? Any working machinery should only be in FF, why would mechanical doors be in an Infested Pit, or in Ice Barrows, much less be opened with gold blocks. A lot of people have talked about this, but i think that every dungeon should have a different kind of "token". Maybe Ice Barrows can have sticks that you have to collect and then set on fire to melt away an ice wall. Lost Sanctuary could have torches that you burn vines away, or something like that. It just doesn't make much sense how dungeons do this.

That aside, there IS in fact lore: emeralds are almost as common as pebbles wherever there's corruption

Um, I'm pretty sure kings aren't generous, unless you're Mansa Musa
And how do you happen to find diamonds ABOVE GROUND!?
Well, surprise, the magic TNT is expensive and raising spikes come at no cost, in Recover The Past a creature of corruption RAISES two spikes without any effort, so yeah we'll be using up a lot of TNT while they can make spikes out of thin air, also, Bak'al exists, if he sees Corruption losing, he's gonna react

theyve been able to have npcs say one thing before you complete a quest and another thing afterwards for a while
but that only works if the npc only has one message of dialogue, they cant change dialogue midway through quests with that method

recently theyve been able to use the new quest stuff (which is like the cutscene stuff, but also a lot more) to specifically have multiple dialogue options depending on what the player's done

tl;dr this stuff is new, but it'll probably appear more in the future

hundreds of soldiers have come, probably thousands
he can't very well empty his treasury, can he?
also, a war-ravaged province is probably more broke to start with
both of the mines that were fucked up (corruption spikes and dern) had plentiful emeralds
many were harvested before being abandoned
also villagers, so it had to have a reason to attract them for game design
corrupted village dude cares, Garoth cared, bob probably cared but i dont give a shit about bob lore
most towns realized they couldnt beat it, so they built strong defenses
if nobody cared, we wouldnt have this many quests about it
    bandits live in the desert
    bandits dont live in detlas
    maltic well dude in detlas
also if you ever speak to any of the people that you have met... they will remember you... and honor you... unless the quest made you fuck them up

your reputation cant spread when the people you help all stay in the same spots

also you do get reputation through access to towns, like RoL/Aldorei/Dwarves etc
    magic vs FF machinery
    also LS makes sense

Since /skiptutorial exists, you could finish the quest in ~1min, which would mean you receive 15 eb every minute, adding up to a grand total of 15*60=900 emerald blocks, which is equivalent to a little over 14le. That is an extremely fast way to grind emeralds in an extraordinarily short amount of time.

EDIT: Just tested, takes 12 seconds to finish from start to finishing the quest, and around 2 minutes for class deletion, but if you had multiple class slots to farm emeralds on, and the rewards gave 15eb each time? Would be an extremely fast emerald farming tool which could potentially rival professions

POTENTIALLY?? bruh profs aren't like a super fast way of making money it's more of a once-in-a-while thing that sells for a ton. This would be the most broken thing ever as 15 eb/12 secs, and if you have enough class slots you could literally chain this to never stop. 15eb/15 secs about (cuz putting in chest) generously estimating is nearly an le a minute. You for sure don't get that from profs. do this for an hour, bam you have 56 le. Do this and in 34 hours you have enough for a near max disco, and in 40 hours you could buy a godly strati. This would be WAY too op

    1. game design. besides, its assumed that soldiers would actually get a salary afterwards. you on the other hand go straight to robbing banks instead of joining an actual battalion
    2. that is literally what is implied. emeralds are so commonplace that they can be used as currency.
    3. the area itself is actually incredibly dangerous despite leveling and stuff in lore, and there's a constant stream of undead coming from the portal.
    4. Almuj has a high amount of poor people but otherwise its a pretty wealthy town. practically an oasis in the middle of the desert.
Guessing that Detlas has their emeralds stocked elsewhere, especially since there's very little inside of that "bank vault"
    5. A lot of NPCs will gawk at you for some of your deeds, like the detlas citizen who greets people, or that guy in troms who's shocked at the fact that you defeated the corrupter, or the first ragni guard congratulates you for your good deeds after defeating amadel. you're not a giant celebrity like Bob because you're essentially a nobody with no family, no relations, no backstory, and definitely no chase after for fame. if you appeared in 884 AP when Bob fought Bak'al and pulled off some cool stuff you would be a living god to the rest of the province, but now? there's a lot of heroes, and a lot of strong guys. the world isn't dying of corruption flu anymore, and its easier to go unnoticed for doing something amazing.
