Well you're better off without it, think of it as a blessing in disguise. From now on when you have an important item you don't want to throw away accidentally, hold the item and do /itemlock . This prevents you from dropping it, if you want to drop the item after locking it, simply hold it and do /itemlock once more and you should be able to drop it again.

Not to worry, naive friend. The vindicator bracelet is objectively one of the worst items in the game.

well yeah but arguably it's the most valuable thing i owned, considering the item's rarity *haha pun*
but tbh the magnet thing was kinda working against me :I
y'know when you try to throw out an item you picked up that dropped from a mob, like some chainmail armor or whatever? yeah..

Uh, they do elaborate. Because magnet pulls nearby item towards you, it also pulls items you throw out of your inventory to get rid of. Maybe it could be changed to not affect items that you throw, and only things like mob drops.

so what you're saying is if someone called someone else Sherlock ironically, they're supposed to say

"Thanks, Sherlock, famous detective and resident of 221B Baker Street."

    no thanks

I've found that from Lv 30 to Lv 40 or so I ended up just casually making 5 LE on drops alone by picking up everything that Magnet pulled towards me. Found some extremely valuable items and ingredients that sold for tons on the market, as well as just a lot of emeralds and good items in general. I didn't NEED to throw out items very often, and when I did it was a matter of taking off Vindicator for all of two seconds. As though that's a dealbreaker?

"Make tons of money really quickly by picking up valuable drops you might've otherwise missed!"
"yeah but i have to remove it for a sec to throw away potions so its literally a burden to wear"

Even stuff that wasn't valuable like some T0 ingredients, build those up for a while and you can sell them from the ingredient pouch for a lot of money. It's a great convenience tool.
I have no clue what you mean by the Sherlock statement, and frankly, I don't understand given that it's served me extremely well rather than being a problem. Even throwing a couple things out without taking Vindicator off hasn't been too much of an issue; I can outrun my items with HAUL of all things, so...

I've yet to encounter a situation where items pulled toward the player helps, considering you can just walk a few steps and pick them up anyway. I agree that Magnet is effectively a downside, because of the reason mentioned.

Scratch- I checked my bank and it was actually 10 LE or so, not 5. I find it to be very convenient, and frankly the annoyance of a few potions in the inventory is worth the slight inconvenience.

I have used magnet + greed and I personally don’t like it as you can’t control when you pick up the emeralds and thus when you get healed. Sometimes being able to dictate when you get healed can be the matter between life and death in the heat of an intense boss battle.

I personally find it to be quite an inconvenience at the level you get it. I'm leveling up a shaman class and have to take it off quite often and its quite annoying, I tend to throw out items often, not just potions.

The only reason I use Vindicator is for the health bonus, constantly having a full inventory is extremely annoying and its far more pleasant to just not have the bracelet on.

While magnet is an interesting idea, I'd rather just walk a few blocks towards the item I'd like to pick up instead of picking up everything indiscriminately. Say if I have 3 items around me, only one of which I want, with magnet I'd pick up all of them, take off the bracelet, walk to a place I wouldn't go to again, throw out the two items I don't want and then continue grinding. At the end of the day I think its value depends on what you're doing, the user and personal preference. While it was helpful for you (a veteran player who knows what they are doing), the same can't be said for the majority of people who use it.

I don't think it's a curse or blessing, it's just a double edged sword which can be extremely inconvenient or convenient depending on the use.
