    It’s a proven fact that gender dysphoria (your genitalia being incongruent with what you identify as) is a mental illness. The only reason why it isn’t recognized as one is because alphabet people had a problem with it (despite that, oh I don’t know, MENTAL ILLNESSES ARE NOT A BAD THING). It’s also a fact that many transgenders and non-binary people feel this way due to horomone imbalance, which also causes some cases of depression, another common mental illness. Other illnesses such as depression are treated instead of accepted, why should gender dysphoria be any different?

    In such a situation, the teacher would pair you up with someone else that doesn't have a partner or would be negligent for not notice that their class has an odd number of students.
