Hello everyone! Recently I made a small post saying that my normal threads would be delayed for a while because I had uncovered a huge mystery. And the first part of that mystery is here in front of you. Please notice that I say the first part, because there are many more to come. I have worked the majority of things now, but I thought by presenting it in parts (and lots of them), the whole thing would be easier to understand. So where does this whole thing start.

When I had written the notice about delayed threads I was still following hunches and loose evidence. Then came along a very helpful comment which tied things all together, and that is where I am going to start. The comment was from Benjin, who I simply cannot thank enough. It showed a picture of the Desert Barracks – not the one where you kill the general but nearer the centre of the desert – which I had completely forgotten about. After digging through some source material I found a thread about what the Barracks contained. The Barracks have a secret entrance accessed by a button on the far wall of the first floor, where you can go down to find a weapon store, a waterhole, a meeting room, a prison cell aboveground in the main building, an armoury, and much more besides. There is an extensive emerald pile and all the supplies needed to raise an army.

In that thread, something interesting was also shown. It was an identical secret room in Nesaak, with all the same rooms, but a different layout and a shabbier style. However, when I went to Nesaak, no button was to be found in the clearly screenshotted building the right co-ords. This will need investigation later, but I will focus on the desert for now.

When studying a location, the surroundings are just as important as the actual building. They can tell a story, and in this case, a vivid one. Upon the hill beneath which the barracks are located is a ruined sandstone outpost with blood and desert skeletons roaming it. It must have been attacked. By whom, though? The skeletons are ranged mobs and the outpost has plenty of cover, so they would’ve been easily defeated if trying to take it. Yet there is an outpost of Bandits, called the Sandstorm Vandalisers, a clear link in a long trail…

There are four groups of bandits in the Almuj desert. The first, the Emerald Knives, are located next to the mesa. The Quicksand Carvers are in the desert NE of Almuj. The Shadow Spears appear to be working with Takan at the outpost at one end of the desert, and the Sandstorm Vandalisers are, as aforementioned, behind the barracks. Now, the loot which these bandits specifically drop contains the bandit’s set (a set of four accessories) and an Emerald Knife (from the Emerald Knives), the Quicksand Crossers (boots from the Quicksand Carvers), the Shadow Spear and Juggernaut (a spear and chestplate from the Shadow Spears), and Vandalizer and Randall’s Leg Plating, which are a knife and leggings from the Sandstorm Vandalisers. Where did the bandits get these fairly good items? They couldn’t have gotten them from travellers, as the gear doesn’t exist elsewhere in the game. Therefore, they must have a supplier. You’ll have to wait till next thread for more on that…

    CLOSING QUESTIONS:

    1. Is the agenda in the Sandstorm Vandalisers’ cave important?

    2. Were the Nesaak barracks completely removed?

    3. Who was the supplier of the bandit’s gear?

    4. What for and by whom are the barracks being used?

    5. Was the prison near Ternaves meant to hold these bandits?

    OVER TO YOU:

    Comment below:

    1. Why you think Takan and the Shadow Spears have an alliance

    2. If you know where the Nesaak Barracks are

    3. What you thought of this thread! Constructive criticism is always welcome.

I think Nesaak Barracks didn't make much sense since the Lore specify that Theorick was pretty much the only protector of Nesaak for a long time, that's why it's mostly gone I believe.

    1. There's a Black Market Merchant behind a waterfall in Almuj City, who used to sell a armor set known as Black Armor (the set bonus only worked for assassins), but now Black Armor was removed with a random, slightly odd and rather cruel Dagger, an actual Wybel Paw, oddly enough
    2. Somewhere near the prison there are ruins where a World Event (a sort of discovery except they are completely unexpected and very few are documented, the can only happen once and they seem to be there to bring a sort of life to the world) where a miner is seen in a cave
    [IMG]
    Dialogue:

    • ???: An emerald mine under Ternaves was found, it'll bring riches and wealth was what they said.
    • ???: They would come and mine here all year 'round, but then a single pebble fell and the crew was dead.
    • ???: huh? Who are you? Where am I? What is this pla- Oh no...
    • ???: They're all dead, aren't they? The mine. the cave in... And its all becouse of those dammed villagers.
    • ???: He he... Ahahahaha! AHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAA!!!
    • ???: Ha ha ha... You know, what!'s the point anyway?
The miner then kills himself via TNT and the rocks blocking progress are blown up too, where several skeletons of miners can be found dead inside, the miner himself seems rather confusing, he's definitely insane, but he seems to switch personalities, from confused, to insane, till he just ends it all. The prison itself? People have glitched inside before, here's a video (IceBreakerGamer has several videos of lore hunting, so that's a good source of material, even though there are some outdated things, still many strange things he finds)

He also made 2 videos about the Almuj and Nesaak bases:

You are kind of revealing all my thoughts at the moment xD. The merchant is going to be discussed next thread and I knew about the mine too. Thanks anyway.

So as for icebreaker, yes he is a good source, but I feel he is sometimes too quick to say "nothing here" I think the prison was used to hold bandits. Do you think it is significant that it is next to the small mine and the better known abandoned mines?

I don't think so, World Events have very little context and are meant to be things to make the world alive, and most don't end happily

    RIP Dernel Mage.

Look, I'm terrible at understanding jokes and stuff. I'm bad at memes. I've never been cool. I was bullied about it for four years, and I've had a lot of people who seem to be nice and then turn on me the moment they realise I'm not popular. It just so happens that you are not nearly as horrid as those people, so thank you for the support - it's rare.

Just thought I'd let u know that I hardly ever get jokes (which is weird because my intelligence skill on Wynncraft is second only to agility) which are supposed to be cool.

    Uhh, understanding a joke doesn't immediately crown you as "kewl", being "cool" is to, well, be good at something (lootrunning, professions, etc.) and blah blah blah, also nice people who turn on you because of lack of popularity? That's weird, never thought people could be THAT generic in terms of personality, I mean, being obnoxious or unfunny doesn't make you a idiot, doing something stupid, wrong or disturbing does, also you have 7 "Great!" votes so I think you got more support than most people do :}

Thank you so much. This will sound really cringy, but getting this reply has made my day. I have met some wierd people who think that being cool is knowing all the memes and jokes etc. The main things I am good at are writing stories and theories and doing Lord of the Rings: The Silmarillion marathons. And eating pizza. Thanks again.

ER... That was slightly random. It's not like a trend its just a couple of idiots who think they're epic and in reality their brains are zygomorphic nucleoplasm in cardiopulmonary arrest.

If possible could you please add some images?

Also, I'm sorry to tell you this, but items dropping from mobs have pretty much no lore connection. For example, there may be a water air item (snow themed) for level 40, it can be dropped either from nesaak mobs, or llevigar plains mobs, it is only about the level.

So I can't add screenshots till I've made ten threads. As for the loot... the jewellery can't be obtained ANYWHERE else in the game. As for the weapons, idk but they might be dropped only by specific bandits too. I'll have to check.

Im sorry my knowledge about these items was wrong. According to wynndata, these items can only be dropped from the mobs you mentioned.

So everyone! Thank you for all the support and constructive criticism. I think this thread has been, other than for one person who thought it was terrible, a great success. Whatever you voted on the poll, I am grateful to all of you.
