Softlocks

Can you guys tell me about softlocks you have faced and where?

 

during the quest taproot, if you go straight east and not stop for anything during the flashback section, it will lock you in some random cave that you can’t leave. you can escape using /kill though, so that’s good.

 

Right now my main character is experiencing a softlock in the "A journey further" quest. Really annoying. Cant get out of Lutho.

 

that's a hardlock if there's no way to get out, just like how i cant finish a hunter's calling because the server I was playing on crashed and now everything is messed up

 

Did you guys post bug reports for this? If so, can you link them so I can take a look?

 

what is softlock and hardlock?

 

A softlock is when in a game you get stuck but you can get unstuck by resetting in some way. A hardlock is when the player gets stuck completely and progression comes to an absolute stop.

 

Always have atleast 1 scroll with you. Trust me, having Ragni scrolls on you at all times will save you more than a few times.

 

since they made detlas scrolls cost 8 emeralds instead of 12 emeralds in the economy update, I use detlas scrolls
