Should I spend the master voucher on armour or accessories? The armour seems to be very fixated on certain elements... is it recommended to have a build solely based on a few elements ( like for example 100 strength, 100 agility, 0 dex, 0 def, 0 intellect) or spread out across the five elemnts?
Also, do glass cannons work cuz it seems that dying is easy in this game

 

Depends on what build your using but i would say just get prowess/intensity since cuz their more useful in my opinion and if u wanna change your build to 1 that includes hive armor, you can always just exhange the accessory back for the armor piece

you usually wanna have some int with good mana regen (good mana regen depends on what fits you, some poeple are fine with lesser while others prefer having more)

Best also to have some Agi/Def in your build, its better to focus on one or the other so that u have survivability

As for glass cannons ehhhh i mean they definitely can be used you just gotta to be REALLY careful not to get hit

 

(Note this is coming from a person who owns zero mythics so builds and playstyles are based around fabled and lower rarities)
(Extra Note: I am an archer main and so I am biased towards glassy spell spam playstyles. I have next to no idea how to play melee warrior and have zero experience in the Shaman class)

You are correct. The armor is very fixated on tri elemental combos and that is very ideal for some builds that focus on three elements.
Take for example, air water thunder specific builds.

The tri elemental combo of air water thunder is based around Glassy Spell Spam, mainly for archers. Hence why the helmet gives mana regen, lots of spell damage % and raw, and lots of Air, Water, and Thunder damage. The helmet is very ideal.
This build and tri wield Gales Force(Air), Torrential Tide(Water), and Cluster(Thunder)
The accessories and weapons are more well rounded and can fit into any build. Kind of like the Ornate items.

Now for your question about elemental distribution, it depends. You can focus on duo elements, tri elements, and rainbow (you don’t usually see four elements because at that point, you might as well go rainbow).

Now about glass cannons. Glass cannons work but you have to be really careful. Lag is also a big factor in whether or not you should use a glass cannon build.
I normally and usually play glass cannons on all my classes but if I’m on vacation with bad internet, I play something a little more tanky but with decent dps.

It’s all about preference in the long run. I can’t really help if you want to go down the melee route but it doesn’t really matter since you can always change the hive items into a different hive item.

Anima,twilight,obsidian,boreal are the ones that are the most usable imo
Hive bow is quite good, hive spear is also good
For accessories, intensity is a damage filler
Prowess is a skill point filler
And contrast is a tank/mana provider
I think you should decide on a build first then spend the token

 

FYI: just letting you know that once you make a decision of what item you want, you are not locked into it forever. It takes three catalysts (master or element) to swap the item to another.

 

Actually it has been changed, now you can just swap it without the catalyst

 

Is that permanent or temporary? I thought it was temporary until the changes in builds stabilizes.
