SPOILER What Is The Best Questline In Wynncraft?

so a couple of my friends were debating about which questline was the most interesting and fun to play. so I decided to put together this little poll.

please vote above :)
(a lot of them aren't classified as official questlines, but their stories tie in to one another, so they are put on this list. please lmk if I forgot one)

What was it about? and what was about aldorei's secret?

 

Wow wynnex is just behind RTD, so the oldest and the newest are the favourites
I'm so proud

I'd like to remind everyone that wynnex was made pre-gavel. Yep, it's the oldest one on the list.
And it's also a masterpiece. It gives so much lore, has fun puzzles, an actually decent narrative, enjoyable fights and good parkour.

I think the reasons it is so good are that it gave vague glimpses into intresting lore, had a narrative that made sense, and was structured around a set of "quest-dungeons" so each one was pretty similar to a dungeon run with some puzzles to spice things up.

 

Bob's is older, actually. But yeah, Wynnexc is the earliest one that really belongs here, Bob's questline so far is kind of dull. I still love it, but that's purely nostalgia.

 

Um, Drale's storyline was kinda erased from existence because of the first quest's removal

But the Ancients are inconsistent with the current lore atm, so, 1.20 the story update?

 

My favorite questline is the Rat Questline. Truly brilliant how it tells a breathtaking, and magnificent tale of the rats, as well as how they came to be, and what their future will be like. Also on how it hones in on two of them in particular for an amazing romance story. The plot twist at the end of the last one, though, never saw it coming, really well done and tragic too. Overall, the Rat Questline is by far the best questline Wynncraft has to offer. Really brings a whole new light to the game.

 

Drale does appear in Tunnel Trouble, so there's still multiple quests containing him

 

They added Drale in the level 5 quest that unlocks the fast travel from Ragni to Detlas.

 

Definitely not Aldorei's Secret... worse than RoL imo

 

Honestly, the Molten Heights questline seems underrated. While it was slow at times, and the storyline had some flaws character-wise, I never found any of the quests dull or aggravating. As someone who had been waiting for a molten heights storyline since Gavel was released, the Doguns and Dwarves quests were definitely satisfying for me.

Additionally, I feel like the Wynn-Excavation questline is kind of underwhelming nowadays. The first three quests are basically "Explore the cave" 2015 quests, and Amadel isn't a great villain. It's far from bad however, but personally I wouldn't call it the best. Can definitely understand the nostalgia for it though, fighting amadel for the first time was amazing.

 

very debatable.
nobody likes RoL because some of it is fetch and the same, non-interesting lore is repeated.

I can't really argue against aldorei's secret because I haven't done it in like a year, but I remember it being enjoyable

The feeling of doing the Wynn Excavation questline for the firsttime was amazing. Right now it falls short compared to other newer questline BUT the nostalgia of it being one of the greatest questline still remain within us.
