I Went Afk In Maex (city In Molten Heights) And Came Back To Having Lost All My Items.

I'm kinda sad more than anything else. I had a lot of good and tuned gear on my 88 Ninja and its all gone. I was hoping that going AFK in a city would be safe but apparently not. I don't even know how this is possible, cities have guards and mobs shouldn't aggro if I'm in the MIDDLE of the city. This whole thing sucks so much because I'm 100% not going to be able to pay off the reparations to get back the armor that i lost (not even accounting for the armor i was holding in my bag that i was going to wear once i levelled up)
As far as my memory serves me, I lost;

- Fenmask
- Thermosphere( I think)
- Post-Ultima
- SteamJet Walkers ( These ones were like 88% optimized)
- Krolton's Cruelty (I'm fairly certain)

In my bag I lost:

- 30 eb ( Not upset about this)
- Dark Shroud
- Visionary's Vice with full t4 powders
- Charm of the Tempest
- 85% Alizarin with full t4 powders
- Booster plate

I'm not doing the math but all this stuff adds up to quite a few le... I don't know if there's anything I can do about this other than just work at getting my stuff back but this whole thing shouldn't have happened. I should have been completely safe in town and even if i died once that could make a little sense but dying enough times to exhaust 15 soul points faster than they regenerate seems like a serious design flaw. Normally i would just take this loss and move on but I feel like I've been dealt an unfair hand. And yes, I shouldn't have been AFK but i thought chilling in a city for a bit wouldn't be a huge issue...

Again if there's anything I can do to lessen the cost of this and not spend all my 20le on getting my armor back please let me know.

Wynncraft has a no refund policy, so u cant really get ur items back, best option is to grind them again.
also each time u die u lose 2 soul points, while u get around 1 every minecraft day IF ur online only, if ur offline it takes more time to get a soul point.
however there isn't really that much u can do about this tbh, the same happened to me a few years ago and i just had to live on with it which wasn't that bad considering u can buy cheap armor and then easily grind better gear.

And as a last tip, if u want to afk stay in /class as it is a considered sort of a pause.
i almost died forever a few days ago again but i got to see what was happening before i got to 1 soul points and i did /class to be afk without being in my class which helped a lot and served as an actual pause.

Hmm, perhaps someone flagged a mob in, Mooshrooms have actually got into Detlas before because of their speed, but Detlas appears to be littered with guards almost everywhere, so the mob is often killed before it can reach the center

Happened to a guild member of mine. The no refund policy still stands, so I just wish you the best of luck. Also, don't AFK in Maex...ever.

 

To anyone wondering, I spent about 11LE and fully repaired my build and even bought some extra stuff. Honestly having the ability to completely rebuild my character let me re-evaluate what kind of build i wanted. I'm going for a lightning/air build as of right now. I'm quite glad that the pricepoints on the market weren't too high and i still have enough LE to do whatever! Thanks for the help everyone

if you are actually minted and have tons of emeralds in your bank just buy new shit on the trade market

It's possible that this was caused by PMI (player made invasions) and if it were provable that this was the case (which it isn't sadly) you may be able to get compensated
