Melee % And Raw

Does melee % and raw work separately from each other? I made a build with 700% melee and 7k raw using stinger and it doesn’t do the 70k melee expected, so I was wondering, how tf do melee % and raw work? Does raw just add onto the dmg your weapon does and % just adds onto that much %? Do they work separately?

I expected it to be

Weapons dmg + raw melee + melee % = dmg

but I guess not

 

Percent melee doesn't affect raw melee, it just acts on base damage.
