Wynnterfest 2019?

Anyone remember that really fun event that happened back in 2016 , Wynnterfest?

I bought like every item and it was so much fun , but I don't think the event ever really came back

will it be done this year?

 

Almost 100% chance of it not happening this year. The reason why it stopped is because all the development effort is being put into the major updates.

 

Ahh I see , that sucks. Still hyped for the major updates though

I really would like to see another "Wynnfest" quest appear!
But I understand that they have been putting all of their energy into the 1.19 update...

 

This is when valve announced that tf is on "hold" but it was already on "hold" for 2 years now cuz all the people are working on half life alyx and other f*cking card games. But the difference between wynncraft and valve is that while wynn is limited on manpower (still pumps out huge updates tho) valve has unlimited money, but they never heard of "hiring more people" so they could keep their beautiful games alive x)

Also, did you know valve and wynn are the same thing, and the update is never going to release, because the release day is "3" and valve (wynn) cant count to 3. Spread the mem- Truth i mean.

 

I remember that. I think that it is possible next year, but they are burned out from 1.19.

 

This was really fun and I would love to see it come back, but they're putting a lot of work into the 1.19 update and it's unlikely they'd take the time to do that on the side; I recall them saying that the primary reason it hasn't come back was time constraints due to other work in previous years. That being said, I would be thrilled if they did something like that in the future, possibly next winter or even for another season.

 

There were plans for it since the last one, but never added. I don’t see it this year but I would love to see Wynnter 2020

and I’m fine with being able to buy wynnter items after event ends, but some need to be exclusive as it ruins the sense of rarity other event locked items had (Trick, Treat, classic santa, etc)

also I do believe they add new items to Santa island since wynnterfair, go check it out sometime you never know...

Yeah they are still opening for players to gather presents for exchange.
But they don't pay more effort to make even more games, that's the point. Opening is easy
