by portals which skill do you mean? if it's the void holes, I clearly state you only take fall damage
it depends on how far u fell before getting the tp to the eye

 

The thing is, a single laser does more damage to me when there's more people, but it certainly doesn't do 30% of my health on every hit, as when I'm alone I take about 2k damage from it if I get hit all 3 times.

I take almost 90% on my 72 def divzer archer

 

UPDATED:
Magmacube Laser damage is now a known value (3000 hp per hit, can hit for 3 times)
Purple Ring damage is now a known percentage (10% of your total hp)
Purple Ring damage is now NOT affected by DEF skill points
1st dodge phase eyeballs damage is now ~35% (still need testing)
1st dodge phase eyeballs damage is now affected by DEF skill points
