Otbs you've just begun breakinh that trend by posting here.

I'm getting more comfortable being social, resulting in me realizing I'm more of an extrovert than I've thought I am, but which also causes me to be intensely more aware of my severe lack of any closer friends than mere classmates.

 

On the bright, you've acknowledged your current baseline. Now you just need to figure out how to go up from here.

I'm behind on a final project (and risk failing a class).

 

On the bright side, you're aware of this and can now plan accordingly. You've also now experienced the stress that negligence towards one's studies can bring forth, hopefully motivating you to stay on schedule the forthcoming semester/s.

I lost my credit card today and I just barely got in contact with the person who found it.
