    1.19 is out, and that's awesome and all but a lot of players (including myself) are losing items that are either very rare and hard to come by or hive items that can only be obtained once per character. So far the admins have yet to post a warning or even address the issue and chances of a refund are very low despite the fact that there is no way to avoid this bug. My inventory was completely empty and yet I still had an anima infused helm just vanish when I logged in. If any of you are experiencing similar problems and have lost items make your voice heard and make them refund us. They can't expect us all to be fine with them stealing items that took time to get and giving us an "oops" expecting that to fix it.

    We've looked a bit but what we've found so far is that it affects a very small % of players, the vast majority of people won't run into it. That also means that it's a tricky one to fix as it is very hard to recreate. But losing items (even if only very rarely) still sucks, so if you guys have an idea of the cause and/or a way to recreate it everytime it'd be appreciated so we can fix it. Also let us know your MC version and if you were using Wynntils of any kind of mod when it happened

    We can confirm this is a bug. We're not "stealing" items, this isn't intentional. Additionally, the update has been out for about seven hours now. This kind of thing comes out of nowhere and blindsides us. We weren't expecting or intending for this to happen, so having an announcement up immediately with the update is a bit presumptuous. We'll be looking into this as soon as we can to fix it hopefully, but as for whether we can refund hive vouchers or mythics, I'm not sure. We've had issues with people in the past making claims like this, and it'd be too easy for someone to say they lost a mythic that they never had in the first place. We'll see how it goes, but know we aren't taking this lightly. If you have any clue how to recreate it, anything at all, tell us so we can get this fixed ASAP. Any information will be helpful.

    Is there any possibility Wynncraft could ever gain the ability to push accounts back. I know its not a thing you can do currently.

    Maybe one day, it's something I always thought would be useful (for situations like these) but it's not an easy task. It's a lot of data that would need to be saved a lot faster than it currently is, and saving/loading is one the most intensive process in Wynn atm. We already have regular backups, but they are slow-ish compared to what would be needed. It would also require us to track a lot more interactions with items so we can see where items are going and detect if one just vanished out of existence or if someone is just lying to try to get free items. It'd be feasable, but require a lot of backend work and large-scale tests

    Alright we've pushed an attempted fix for this. Let us know if the bug still persist on newly created servers (tell us if it happens ONLY on new servers, not older ones). In 3 to 4 hours every server should be updated.

    It shouldn’t. If it does, please reply to the bug report open about the issue.

    I haven’t logged on, and kind of don’t want to considering people are acrually losing mythics :/

    How do we know if the server is fresh?

    I heard weapons haven’t been effected(just some people lost boreals and slayers)

    But if you didn’t meet reqs(since that’s wat I’ve been told the cause is) you might lose it

    As Salted said above, all servers should be updated within 3-4 hours.

    I appreciate that you are trying to fix this (even if it affect just a small % of players) and that a patch is already on its way.... but I would like to say that this didn't come out of nowhere, I reported it the first/second day of hero beta: https://forums.wynncraft.com/threads/warchief-didnt-copy-to-hero-beta.256567/ and by the looks of it was just completly ignored.

    It seems like the bug that affected beta was not the same as this bug, and that was different as well as far, far, far less widespread.

    Just to make sure, my #1 warchief is gone forever right? I won't get it back?

    Is there any chance I could get a refund on a hive voucher though? If you need to check I have completed the quest and my build was built to have anima on it. You can do a full check of my bank Ill record anything if needed I just dont want to have to create another character and lvl it to 80 because of an unfortunate bug, that just doesn't seem fair to me. Also I have no idea how to recreate it, as I just logged on and didn't have the helmet on or in my inventory and my inventory was empty besides a few lvl 100 potions.
